thanks, i was trying to animate the rotation motion constraint. later i animated the angle constraint and wala!! thanks for your help anyways. your tutorials are very helpful. keep at it.
great tutorial thanks a ton. could you do a tutorial on constraining and animating a wankle rotary engine. just animate the rotation 3:1 ratio. shaft turns 3X's to 1 rotation of the rotar. I can manually move it with a motion constraint @ 3:1, but the animating in inventor studio completely confuses me.
@nwvw1 let me get this right: You can build and constrain it so that it moves correctly when draged with the mouse? If so, you should be able to create a fixed angle-constrain (as shown in my video above) and simply animate the parameter. With your motion constrains on, every thing should move along. I made a very simple wankel engine just to try it - worked well for me.
@Faklendorff Can you do a tutorial on how to fade objects into the scene?
I'm making some instructional videos on installation of equipment insulation, where layers/pieces of insulation need to fade in from nowhere and clamp onto the equipment.
It's amazing how poor the help function is in inventor :(
@gelapgelemak i know this is hard and hard to catch on. im bad but if you get lost just watch over and over and 8 minute video will become random to you. stick with it..i will try too.
