We could go around in circles all day selecting quotes from various "experts." But all I know is that Jesus has appeared to me a number of times throughout my life and even before I came into this screwed up world I was with Him. Elohim has an unknown etymology, though many argue some root word meaning "power", and a few have pointed out relations to words resembling the later-borrowed "Allah".

Elohim goes back to the Torah. It has been replaced in modern bibles as God a singular. In any case, each language in various cultures had there own name for the Elohim/Annunakii, such as the Adnamatnas "Bwanapul" or the Wanjinas of the Northern Kimberley tribes as examples.

It's definitely plural (regardless of what modern/traditional interpretation says, the word is rendered in the plural, although it apparently takes a singular verb anyway), but it's more of a bastardized combination of El/*yl, probably meaning something like "power" originally (gods, magistrates, you name it) and 'lhm, stolen from the Caananite pantheon.

@royraelian I hate to break it to you (being a fellow blasphemer), but the word you're looking for is Annunaki ("those who come from the sky", roughly), an ideology that was probably borrowed from the Sumerian/Babylonians through cultural transmission (if, indeed, Jewish Biblical history is accurate or relevant). Elohim has an unknown etymology, though many argue some root word meaning "power", and a few have pointed out relations to words resembling the later-borrowed "Allah".

Elohim goes back to the Torah. It has been replaced in modern bibles as God a singular. In any case, each language in various cultures had there own name for the Elohim/Annunakii, such as the Adnamatnas "Bwanapul" or the Wanjinas of the Northern Kimberley tribes as examples.

It's definitely plural (regardless of what modern/traditional interpretation says, the word is rendered in the plural, although it apparently takes a singular verb anyway), but it's more of a bastardized combination of El/*yl, probably meaning something like "power" originally (gods, magistrates, you name it) and 'lhm, stolen from the Caananite pantheon.

@talo757 The universe is infinite in time and space. It has always existed and will always exist, only the form changes. Man is part of an eternal chain of creation. The universe itself is a living thing and man is simply a part of it. Humanity is the consciousness of the universe, a manifestation of the infinitely small matter living upon the infinitely large planets.

All that I am saying is the reasons you have presented are faulty and so Is every other argument for the existent of god I have ever heard. Now I am not going to try to convince you of anything. The only one who can convince you is yourself so therefore I believe that arguing here on youtube won't help anyone. If you really care about the existence/nonexistence of god do your own research.

@kubush Yeh what ever!. The bottom line. Not one scientist on the planet has yet to create the natural conditions whereby even the simplest of protein molecules could self assemble. That is without any pre-existing genetic material. You can have all the hypothesis you want but Evolution theory has about as much credibility as the God concept.

@royraelian Are you kidding? Look up the Urey-Geller experiment. Amino acids, the building blocks of life, did sponteanously come together in certain conditions. Evolution had mountains of evidence. Have you ever taken a college level bio course?

So as they perfect their techniques, more complex life will be created, proving that life can be created. The first bacteria with a computer for a parent has already been created. So my theory is proving more likely.

Big call matter isnt infinitely small, kind of brings reminders of the world is flat. Our planet may not be infinitely large but it is part of something that is infinitely large. Like I said, abiogenesis, is an interesting theory, but no one can make it happen in laboratory simulation of natural environment. And without that Evolution falls on its head.

@TyrellTLyles Drawing a long bow here. All Hebrew words ending with 'im' are plural. Not one of the original biblical texts used GOD. God as a singular is a relatively new invention of the church.
