  • this video is awesome... !!!

  • Cool, original, magical! LOVE.

  • Hot! Sexy music! Great for playing the role of the "Greenman" for the rite of Beltaine, or the Great Rite! I'd love to interpret those dance moves while wearing the Green Man Mask.

  • Absolutely cool & relaxing to watch...

  • Awesome!

  • Incredible!! Wow!! :-)

  • Incredibly stunning!! Very cool!!

  • Awesome! Ive never seen this before.

  • Love this video Baxter it is so wonderful and strong through out! I need this song on my ipod, I could just picture my self flying around to this song, must have it! Bravissimo!

  • pretty cool. is this improvised, or choreographed ahead of time?

  • enjoyed every second,..I think that I am ready to make another video....BEST WISHES

  • revisiting this vid Bax, pure genius :-)

  • put a shirt on next time, but otherwise, VERY good! now i have to go practice more...

  • I never cease to be amazed at how rude people can be on YouTube. Usually they're 14 but this chick is 18 -- old enough to know better. I wonder how she'd feel if the shoe was on the other foot and people were criticizing her fashion sense or form?

Bax you are FINE! and I like seeing the human form. Our culture is too modest and afraid. It's unhealthy. Thank you for sharing your Self and your hoop journey. These moves are kick-ass. Thanks for having the courage to be who you really are.

  • 13 Did I call it or what? So Bax, just know that this is another comment from a kid who doesn't know any better.

  • @shmoofoobean44 Nudity does not always imply sexuality.

  • @chewbobington I said nothing about sexuality!

@everyone on youtube= I wasn't being mean, and i'm sick of everyone and their girlfriend yelling at me and calling me a bad person and rude when i did nothing but speak my opinion.

it's his choice to wear it or not.

honestly... it was 5 MONTHS ago when i commented that and I DONT CARE!!!!

  • I agree, you weren't hostile in your comment 6 months ago. I believe that the people who reacted at your comment are pissed from all the other bullshit going on on YouTube (when people are throwing trash at others, and stuff).

  • Love this vid, Bax, you totally never cease to amaze me. Love to you and Ann, Judy

p.s. don't forget to let me know if/whenyou guys make it back up to NY. I promise to feed you well! :-)

  • I love how you show yourself dropping the hoop, and don't edit it out, or cut the video before that part. I feel that is the most inspirational thing about this video :)

  • beautiful brother!

blessed to have seen you so into it!

    peace <3

  • Awesome! Where has this been? I just found it! Wow, Baxter, this is just about the best hoop video I have ever seen. Man! Very intense, very technical, very beautiful. Wow. keepvid!

  • thanks for the inspiration - i'll be studying these moves for sure.

  • never seen this type of hoop, it's mindblowing. Is that a normal hdpe hoop? It looks so light!

  • Holy God of Finesse, your touch technique is fantastic!

  • This is amazing! Just too many elements to comprehend. I will have to watch this many more times...I have never seen such control of a hoop! The music was the perfect compliment to your superb hooping!

  • (2/2)

The sequence where you're moving around the hoop at 4:03 is AMAZING, and tricky to pull off that smoothly

The 1/2 revolution handoff at 5:06 has a really interesting syncopated rhythm to it -- Warrior Style

The kick at 5:19 is a nice touch of finesse

Looks you're still mastering those chest bounces ;) Hadn't ever thought of doing that.

I'd love to see you try smaller hoops to see what you come up with. I've been playing around with some 30" hoops a lot, and they're easier to break.

  • Thanks for all the feedback on all my videos, Kentbye. Small hoops look like a lotta fun, but I try to use the same hoop for all my techniques and a 30 inch would be too small for me (personally) on the core.

  • I see. I've been experimenting with a number of different Hoop Path inspired blindfolded exercises while listening to a metronome, and I find it puts me in a bit of trance state. I intend on start posting some videos here soon.

But I've also been doing a lot of hand hooping and find that it's made more more precise on handoffs, but also breaks me out of a way of thinking and I tend to experiment a bit more. Some of it's transferable, and other stuff isn't.

    Anyway, just thought I'd ask.

  • Wow, this video has so much inspiration that I think I'll have to break it up into two. (1/2)

The 2:20 balance on the hand is cool

I also love the tosses at 2:25 from left to the right hand from 3 o'clock to 9 o'clock. Haven't seen that one anywhere else.

I noticed that you spinning around the back of your hands starting at 2:47

The arm bounces at 2:53 are pretty sweet

Be interesting to see how still you can keep the hoop on the tosses at 3:03

The passes at 3:48 look slick

  • briliant!

  • This is off the hook beautiful Baxter. Work the subtleties of touch... What a wonderful meditation exercise...In the moment and connected.

  • beautiful. inspiring.

  • I am spell-bound! I am buying this album RIGHT NOW ! :)

  • after watching for awhile, its nice to see a male reaching for the balance of the circle of life of the great feminine and showing such grace, you will go far, just focus, i have a great focus exercise for you if you wish to master it... write me.

  • Just post it up.. all urls open.. and if you know... then you know what you have to do... freely

  • thanks for the beautiful music and the great video

  • Holy Warrior Smackdown. Be still my heart. Wow. Wow.

  • Nice. I love the tempo switch just before the end.

  • hey, this is really good

  • really good? idk. i'd say pretty good, maybe. or no. fairly good. definitely fairly good. hehehe

  • I'm taking a hoop dance class here in Milwaukee. The dancers who organized this GREAT WONDERFUL class went to Chicago to take one of your hoop classes a few weeks ago.

It is great to see a mans version of hooping!

    Inspiring work Baxter!

  • I love what your doing Baxter. Your staying on top weather on or off body. Great respect to you!!!

  • Is this humanly possible?

  • Absolutely incredible.

  • Love it! The contrast between the smoother, lighter touch techniques like rolling and then the harder, more staccato samurai moves was great.

Your touch is so precise and becoming very refined. But George, Geoge, George of the Jungle, watch out for that tree!

  • Looking like a warrior/hero.... "Uncle Joe" would be so proud! Hope you guys have a great holiday, can't wait to see you again! Kennethia *A hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself. Joseph Campbell

  • That is so beautiful, Kennethia. Thank you.

  • this is too cool. yo smooth like honey boy! ;)

  • Thanks, everybody.

  • I think your gonna be famous, and Oprah is gonna be begging you to take a Hoop Path workshop.

I got chills around the 2:20 mark. Thank you for the continuied inspiration.

  • A Brilliant Pas De Deux!

  • you are a.m.a.z.i.n.g. watching you evolve with the hoop is soul food for me - so inspiring. thank you for posting this!

  • :-) I like the playfulness of this technique, it seems very intuitive and free... just my cup of tea :-)

  • what a great video... It is like contact juggling with the hoop. thanks for sharing your talent with us...

  • This is incredible! So soothing to watch! I feel the power of your movements!!

Can't wait to meet you and Ann in January!!! :)

  • this is very awesome!

I've been playing with the balancing the hoop across my foot a lot too...but I love how you take that concept and apply it everywhere...going a lot of places I have been in my playfulness but adding your extreme expert control and grace.

My Goodness. You are a blessing to this planet! and I am thankful to call you a friend!!! <3

  • Love those little chest bounces at the end. This was really fun to watch and it's nice to see a video from you after all this time. Great job Bax!

  • Master!!!!

  • hell yeah! i love how you bounce the hoop off your arms and balance it on top of your hand! and those 1/2 isolation across the body moves (for lack of a better term) are so f'in tight. thanks for the inspiration. you have taught me so much and we've never even met! COME TO KANSAS CITY!

  • So I love this video! I love inventive you are being with your feet and using your chest and balancing the hoop on your hand! Amazing I love it!!! Your flow is graceful and manly ahh I am too excited about this video right now...in culinary class lol

  • Oh snap! That was smoove, smoove, smoove.
