Not going to lie, I'm still extremely bitter that Kathleen Edwards snatched up Justin and he's off the market now. But man, do they make beautiful music together.
@jozy21 What's it really matter? I mean we all make mistakes, even (and sometimes especially) on stage... Just cuz it's Justin Vernon, and he's great doesn't make him perfect (wanna hear how imperfect he is? listen to For Emma, you know? so raw...
@franticdisposition yea its hard to say. he likes to have unique solos but i dont really think he meant to hit that note. he was smart and played another semi-off key note after to make it seem like he was just trying to do a unique riff. ahh but now listening to it again it totally seems like something he would do on purpose! i think he meant it :) final answer
i hate kathleen! she's a dork, saw her live before bon iver and she was really ignorant

It's cool that he missed those notes..She made him nervous and lose concentration....in that moment,it was still beautiful.

It's ok, Justin, to look up at your woman. She keeps trying to make eye contact.

why is everyone arguing about him playing a wrong note if it sounds great to begin with?

No, he totally ment it :D!
I mean, he does it two times in a row, and both times he end up back at the "scale-right" note.

@franticdisposition what do you mean?

@jozy21 i don't think he meant to hit the D, although upon re-viewing, it's arguably a blues note :)
