    Greetings from Germany :-)

    Leon

  • :S

  • lol, it looks like you're eating/drinking a pond. but it probably tastes great

  • what was that first packet you added?

  • Oh! I've got wakame. I've most of the other ingredients too. Hee. No sesame oil though. Still, I think I'll give it a go tonight.

    Thanks for sharing!

  • i couldnt use chopsticks even if it meant my life

  • It's not really that hard, you just gotta keep practicing. I never thought I'd get the hang of it either, but I eventually did with enough practice!

  • I see wakame in the store but never purchase it because I had no idea what to do with it. That soup looks great! I might get brave and try it next time. Maybe.

  • Gee weeee...! I spent the last week looking for chopsticks with holes in them, apaprently it is really hard to find?

  • Greetings Sarah!

I couldn't help notice when you were pouring the soup into the bowls (nice table arrangment by the way) I notice the chop sticks. Can you eat soup with chop sticks?

    Cheers

  • You can eat the wakame with chopsticks and drink the soup.

  • How do you drink the soup with chop sricks? Do they have holes like a soda straw or something like that?

  • Yes, the chopsticks have holes in the middle. Just like a straw.

  • Doesn't that burn your lips when you try to drink hot liquids through a straw?

  • This is a joke right? I've never heard of chopsticks with holes in them and every Japanese person I know drinks soup by bringing the bowl to their mouth or using a soup spoon.

  • Yes, I was joking : ) I drink the soup like you said, by bringing the bowl to my mouth.

  • sarcasm is hard to detect online, I've love to hear how you'd describe sarcasm in one of your episodes if your up to the challenge.

  • Fie, O Thou Heathen! Powdered 'vegetable stock'? One thing I'll say about the USA- vegetables are plentiful here. Some of them have even learned how to vote.

    Ben

  • Ben,

Somehow, I find that not surprising at all!

Apparently it is extremely plentifull in California!

  • We have a mild climate, more or less, and a lot of arable acreage. Japan is roughly the size of California.

  • What is the vegetable IQ requirements for a normalised acreage production?
