  • Mikhail Surkov.

  • häyhä ftw 500 kills with sniper (didnt even use a scope) 200 with smg survived from artillery and counter snipers. Then he was shot in the head with a rifle but still survived all those in 100 days lol. Nice kdr

  • @1tyhmalapsi his own bullet exploded in rifle and make a damage to him.

  • @Akee92 , no he was hit by explosive round, im not genious in this so dont ask anything from me but ive read that from winter war based book and i live in the same fucking country where he lived, finland and the book is made here.

  • if you knew anything about the Soviet propaganda, you probably remove all soviet snipers from the list... real soviets snipers was just local hunters from Siberia they know how to accurate shoot but they don't know anything else about battlefield so they was real easy targets for German snipers, my uncle was one of the first cadet of newly restored Lithuanian Military Academy and got some lectures about snipers in battlefield led by Bruno Sutkus.

  • the best of the best: Simo Hayha!

  • wait for my new video top 10 best snipers in history

  • surkov 700

  • And Simo did all this in just a 100 days which ads up... and he also had about 200 kills with his submachine gun. So he had a 700 ratio in just 100 days.

  • Carlos Hathcock is #1...I don't know why anybody would say not.

  • @noahlw18 Simo Häyhä is #1...I don't know why anybody would say not. Häyhä has more kills and he got his kills by defending his fatherland from communists, not by attacking innocent people.

  • it's Simo Häyhä not Haya

  • Hope there won't be more wars.

  • If anyone has every bothered to actually read Hathcock's account of his then longest sniper shot in history you will soon come to realise not only how proficient in BS Americans are but Americans will also believe just about anything....

  • @WarriorCrimson he did not make the longest sniper shot he made the longest machine gun shot attaching a scope to something does not automatically make it a sniper rifle

  • @MrDip02 It is recorded at the time as being the longest sniper shot in history. Hathcock was serving as a sniper whilst deployed to Vietnam, it is true however that he was using a modified .50 cal machine gun at the time of the record. Again, i have to say that much of what he claimed took place for the record shot is BS. He claimed he only shot the child (yes child) because the child engaged him with an ak-47, so either Hathcock was much closer than he claimed or his storey is all BS.

  • @WarriorCrimson fuck im more curious why a child was issued with an ak-47 rather than if the story is true 0_0

  • @MrDip02 Issuing kids with AK:s is normal in poor countries these days. Ive even seen a chimp with an AK. Though that was a comedy clip. :D

  • @MrKukkeliskuu oh yeah and haha yeah i saw that to the youngest i have ever known kids in the military were 10 and 15 but that's like civil and korean war

  • @MrDip02 Forget the clowns here whouldn't know an ak-47 from a tree stump. The storey goes, the child was riding a bicycle attached to which was a crate of ak-47s, Hathcock states that he did not intend on shooting the child, so he claims to have shot the frame of the bike, which of-course knocked the child off the bike and spilling the crate of ak-47s in the process. So, according to Hathcock's account the child then stood up holding a ak-47 and began to engage him, so he fired back...

  • @MrDip02 For Hathcock's storey to be true this poor Vietnamese kid would have to be a trained experienced soldier able to discern by sound Hathcocks position and have the incredible long sightedness in order to actually see anything with the naked eye at that distance clear enought to pick out a camouflaged soldier who's only visible sillouette would have been the gun itself and Hatchcock's head and then aim a rifle with iron sights at it at over 1,000m. Hathcock is a liar and murderer.

  • I have a better title for this video. "Top 10 sniper mass murderers"

Are you people serious about glorifying killers and mass murderers? Get a life...

  • @Altlas1 Friggin idiot, many of them were defending their country (as Simo Hayha did, for example).

  • @havz0r I think insulting an other person based on a diffrent point of view is the true stupidy here.

  • @Altlas1 you're fucking stupid it's war what do you expect for people who are defending there country that's a really bad thing you know and mass murder is slaughtering they did not slaughter anyone retard -_-

  • @MrDip02 In special cases like an invasion of your homeland its the only personal option left to kill 700 russians like swedishhunter21 told. But in fact the title mass murder seems correct to me for killing such an amount of people, no matter what circumstances.

  • @Altlas1 well really it's war and simo did not really brutally murder the russians if he did then yes now 9/11 is an example of mass murder

  • @MrDip02 And besides, in your opinion every afghan who would kill 700 nato soldiers in afghanistan is a hero to you?

  • @Altlas1 not really i don't consider anyone a hero when it comes to war but it matters

  • @MrDip02 true. I am a dreamer sometimes, seeing a future world without war. But the reality especially for a single sniper in war looks much different and will not change sooner or later.

  • @Altlas1what is wrong with you? if leaders from all the world send out soldiers and snipers it's probably the only thing to do! Häyhä did the right fucking thing taking out those 700 russians

  • @Shellback1970 even worse, he spent days on that mission to move undetected

  • Rather pointless to put the kill ratios there. Hatchcock looks like a schmuck at 2nd compared to Häyhä. Sure, Hatchcock was a legend to US people, but I simply can't see him in top10 with the others, even the 10th placed dude, who made a longer kill shot. There were a number of people who matched or bettered on Hatchcocks numbers, so putting him 2nd is simply daft. And if you want to talk about range, talk about available equipment first. He had aerial intelligence and spotters. Most didn't.

  • Sorry friend, but the rifle used by robert furlong was a Mcmillan Tac 50, by repeating bolt action in .50 caliber. The ammunition used by this great shooter was the U.S. .50 BMG.

  • Forgot one, Chris Kyle !

  • Paras oli suomalaine.

  • Simo Häyhä The White Death or russian name"Belaja smert" numero UNO

  • Ivan Sidorenko looks like Hugo Stiglitz !!!

  • its "simo häyhä"

  • @MirathGames maybe the dude had a english keybord so he didnt have ä, i dont think he ment to spell it wrong :)

  • No.1 Should be Häyhä, not Haya.

  • Comment removed

  • Haya shot without a scope but his targets were short distanced. Haya was shot down many times and once he was nearly killed after which he went off the battlefield.Zaitsev was unharmed during the whole war.He wasn't spotted even a single time only the person who was about to die in the next moment saw him.If both are taken to International Top Sniper then Zaitsev will win because it requires a little knowledge to operate the telescopic sight which Haya didn't know.

  • @SpetsnazGRU1

    1. Häyhä's longest killshot was fired from 1200m away from the target, with a rifle that has an estimated range of 1000m. The kill was witnessed by his commanding officer.

  • 2. Häyhä was shot only once. An explosive bullet smashed his jaw. Btw, explosive bullets were banned by a treaty in WW2. Russia signed the treaty, but used explosive bullets widely on the eastern front.

  • 3. Häyhä PREFERRED normal iron sights. Telescopic sights do not work well in the cold and tend to give away the sniper's position. If he wanted a telescopic sight, he would have used one. Zaitsev used a rifle that was optimized for sniping, while Häyhä used a normal infranty rifle. So, if you use logic, Häyhä seems to have way more skill than a Soviet ''legend''.

  • 4. Häyhä is called ''White Death'' because he moved (or stayed in place) UNSEEN. He chose his positions well and his targets carefully. Sometimes he moved even amongst enemy lines. It is recorded that he had wiped out several large groups of soviet rabble without being spotted.

    I rest my case, gentlemen

  • @Ak8733 Actually white death ment every finnish soldier in winter war. Those sovient soldiers who fought the winter war used to live near the black sea so they had propably never seen snow before. As finnish soldiers were more used to snow they could move faster and more silently, thats why the sovient soldier called finnish soldiers "the white death"

  • @P4nzerk93 Goddammit man!

Simo Häyhä was called White Death.

Finnish soldiers were called White Ghosts or just Ghosts.

  • @Ak8733 My mistake. You are right.

  • @P4nzerk93 It's alright. A common misconception.

  • Damn I said ''I rest my case'' twice :D

  • This video is a totally biased one.Lyudmila Pavlichenkova(which is misspelled over here)is in the top 4 snipers in the world. The places her in #6.VZ at #3.

  • The best sniper in the world is Vassily Zaitsev because sniping is not only about killing from long distances or killing many people but also about hiding and providing useful information all of which Zaitsev did.Haya was only a killer. And Zaitsev was a better marksman than any one in the planet. And to make things worse for the enemy,he was a god damn good hide and seek player. He was cold blooded. He usually killed the higher ranked enemy.Rest was done by his Comrades.

  • Simo Haya (White Death) 705 confirmed kills 505 with a bolt-action rifle andv 200 with a submachine gun and around 400 unconfirmed kills

NO 1 WILL BEAT HIS K:D RATIO!!!!

  • @TheGERO418 it was more than 505 with the mosin nagant, 524 is much closer

  • @swedishhunter21 Not mosin nagant. Pystykorva. Finnish version of the mosin nagant rifle. :]

  • @MrKukkeliskuu yes, sorry

  • А еще, он срал не целясь....

  • @ewpatiy puhu suomee

  • @PuuJoha :) Говори по-русски!

  • @ewpatiy говорить по-фински / размаўляць па-фінску

    Google Translator является мощным

  • @PuuJoha Научи, братан! :)

  • Go to Facebook and type in AnyList in the search bar

This may seem like spam but its a new page on FB I'm starting that revolves around top ten lists. check it out if you want.

  • SIMO WAS IN THE WINTER WAR NOT WORLD WAR 2 MAN

  • @bradvssasha

    Winterwar is part of WW2

  • White Death and Bruno Sutkus are my favorite soldiers

  • HYVÄ SUOMI!!

    (good Finland!!)

  • This controversy over who is the best sniper could really only be solved if we were able to take all of them and let them operate in all the different environments. We really don't know how Hathcock would have performed in a Finnish winter; we don't know how Simo would have performed in tropical jungle, nor do we know how Zaitzev would have performed in Iraq. All of these soldiers, and many others, were exceptional predators who used their available technologies to the best of their abilities

  • How would any of the 20th-21st century snipers have stacked up against SGT Grace of the 4th Georgia Infantry who killed General Sedgewick (Union Army VI Corps) at Spotsylvania with a muzzle loading Whitworth rifle and a crude telescopic sight at over 800 yds? Snipers today have superior equipment to that of 70 or 150 years ago, so they are capable of kills at longer ranges. This doesn't make them any more or less skilled than Simo, Hathcock,Zaitzev,Koenig, nor any others.

  • Position, Breathing, Sight Picture, Trigger SQUEEZE, and Follow-through are the keys to hitting the target regardless of the rifle used, and EXCEPTIONAL FIELD CRAFT AND SURVIVAL SKILLS are the be-all end-all requirements of the successful sniper. Koenig came up short on the last.

  • these are killers

  • Ru kidding me? Even our nabour Libyans shot people from 2miles with an .22 rifle without an scope. The rifians shot down spanish snipers with the same thing from over 12miles, hahahahha. Come on English you can do better then that.

  • Simo Häyhä.

  • id say that killing some1 over 2.000 meters far back in vietnam was a pretty damn hard thing to do then

  • For retards who didnt understand why he didnt use scope : it could caught the sunlight

  • @BOriippuvainen I have read that he eschewed the scope because it made his head to rise higher and thus ruined his field craft. Aside from being a dead shot, he also had an uncanny ability to blend in. And he did some killing with Suomi SMG, too.

  • @BOriippuvainen Actually when they asked him why he will not use a scope he answered: "Kosk se tappa." ('Cause it kills ya.") and then he told that he ment the fact of scope being a bit higher than iron sights one would give more head for the enemy to aim at.

  • @BOriippuvainen And considering his targets were all close range hunkered down in dugouts trying to stay warm instead of being on the battlefield shooting back...yeah real impressive......

  • @shellback1970 Check your facts.

  • @muumikuu FACT im not impressed by shooting 700 people who were sitting around campfires...

  • @shellback1970 are you saying that just because america isn't at no. 1?

  • @ownedzaros When your boy crawls 1000 meters on his belly across an open field undetected and blows out an enemy Generals heart from 750 yards away. (none of Simos kills were even close to that far away).THEN crawl back out undetected while the whole base is going insane looking for him. Firing in every direction and searching with dogs. Not knowing he was only 3 ft away from thier machine gun at the time.. then we can talk...

  • @BOriippuvainen main reason is it would fog up after all it was -40 fucking degrees he could of used leather caps and made slits were the sun did not reflect the main reason is he has to bring his head up more and fogging simo was not stupid enough to not have a tactic to prevent the sunlight from shining

  • And don't forget that Simo Häyhä killed about 200 soviets with SMG that's pretty important stuff.

  • @netherWl He had like 500 kills with a sniper and 200 with smg

  • @BrixBG The rifle was Finnish pystykorva similiar to mosin nagant

  • Simo häyhä has made 542 kills...

  • It's impossible to say how many kills those guys had. Not all kills are counted. Often Germans were not credited with defensive battle kills because it was too chaotic and the enemy was just running into the gun sights to get shot. (source: Im Auge des Jägers, Sepp Allerberger)

  • simo häyhä made the most kills a soldier ever made

and he only made with his mosin nagant (without scope) 500 kills

  • too bad the Americans are good at shooting cavemen in Afghanistan...doesn't really count

  • @socalpimp1974 Lol, true that.

  • and häyhä was only defending his country not attacking as the others

  • @jechristian765 705 men, that's just fucked up!

  • @heavyarska Yh :(. to bad than he got half of hes face blown of :(

  • Can't belive how much assbeating hte Sovjet got from Finland under WW2.

  • @guyfjhbkjbkjnbkl it was in the winter war the USSR got it ass kick by finns not ww2 :p

  • simo häyhä offical killed over 800 and inoffical over 1.000

  • @netherWl that could be so but more realistic number is something between 542 and 706 kills

  • @heavyarska It was 705

  • @netherWl that's just wrong, he took out 542 men with his rifle, and 150 with his PPSH41

  • @swedishhunter21 Häyhä didint used PPSh41 he used Suomi KP/-31 smg

  • hathcock should have had the longest because he was sing a 30-06 not a fifty

  • @USMC9724 no, he used a 50 caliber machine gun with a scope on it, he could squeeze off 1 round bursts and could tap out just as far as guys nowadays, dont believe me? read a book

  • Maybe every sniper who didn't die was a good one. because in war snipers share on two categorys The Good and The Dead

  • Simo Häyhä killed over 700 people he was shot in a face with an explosive bullet and he survived, he did not use scope, he used iron sight.

  • @TheSnoperWolf He killed 500-700 people in just over 100 days

  • @evilTaker90 actually you are wrong because häyhä wounded when the war was only about 50 days old

  • @heavyarska Do your research better: Häyhä wounded at the end of the war: March 6th and the war ended in March 13th

  • @TheSnoperWolf what a pity that mannerheim didnt let him go to the continuation war:(

  • You have to realize hathcock went three whole days basically skull dragging and he almost never missed targets. He also shot a 50 cal with a scope attached and killed from extreme distance. I think he should of been first. But I do understand why you guys would go with the other guy

  • @therublecube you're obviously biased.

  • Comment removed

  • somo was not a sniper, he was a rifleman, he did not have a scope and he ate snow so the russians could not see his breath and he ended up geting shoot in the face and his scout took him back to the fieldhospital and he was in coma and die 2002

  • @MrCoolbo1 Actually, Simo was a sniper!!!

  • @88NULLI counter sniper.

  • @MrCoolbo1 Ok. Let's make a compromise... The best soldier in histoty! Ok??? =)

  • simo häyhä has world biggest sniper kill record and dont forget the finland is litle palce but we have a simo häyhä and finnish soliders are evybody fucking brave when they figth whit russia and russia is more bigger the finland we finland soliders fight whit our country and just swidish and german helped us when we fight the russian ONORH FOR FINLAND

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ah, snipers. For when "fuck you" just isn't getting the message across to the enemy

  • Simo 705*

  • Yeah, the most awesome thing is that Simo did those kills without scope XD

  • @1MrAlpaca YES SIMO HÄYHÄ IS THE BEST

XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD

  • Sorry for the typo stop whinning.

  • Dont agree with some positions

  • Heres another one....Mark Osmond kill 2 talibans with 1 shot

  • symo hayha owns it.505 kills in 100 days at the temperatures from -20 to -40 degrees.just brutal

  • @DreamBigSwimStrong

And don't forget that he shot without a scope.

  • ratio isn't really the appropriate term, as that could be understood to mean his own death considered, too.

  • i bet some of these russian snipers were killed by häyhä. just a wild guess.

  • @arkhibas possibly, häyhä killed one russian sniper who was killed 1 finnish soldier but finnish knew there is a sniper and sent simo, after day russian sniper get up to the knees and bullet hit him to head, häyhä was seen sunlight coming from enemy sight.

  • Can't you even get the name right of the greatest sniper in history? It's Simo Häyhä not Haya

  • @MarksmanM40 Well they dont use much of a Ä abroad.

  • The greatest warrior of the last 100 years is definitely Simo Häyhä. He fought in the adversest of conditions, cold reaching -40c. He fought the demons in the bowls of Hell and in just three months he confirmedly killed over 700 Russians. What people tend to forget is that he was hospitalised for a part of these three months.

What also impresses me about Häyhä is that he lacked a scope, he used iron sights and still took out enemies from 400 meters.

  • @Daski69 he didn't favor a scope because it would've made him too big target and most likely it would've revealed him to the enemy

  • @tirepo Yes, and because the reflection of the sun from a scope might've disclosed his position.

  • @Daski69 Remember he got shot in the left cheek/Jaw and by a explosive bullet wich "tore" the left cheek off, and he still got a full recovery.

  • @Daski69 - Moreover, he was given a new rifle, that had a scope, and he didn't use it because he thought it might give out his position. Moreover, he did not really need it.

  • @Daski69 OK, he's a very good sniper and fought where?

  • @2084028jpo In Finland.

Google "Winter war" and "Simo Häyhä"

  • @Daski69

who exactly was the demon? the invader or the defender?? your love of nazi messed with your mind. finland is damn lucky to exist today after collaborating with the scum of the earth known as nazi.

  • @nuke7777777 Finland was not an ally of the nazis, that's an important point. The soviet union had invaded about 10% of finlands territory, while unrighteously stating that it was finland that started the war. The finns and nazis just had the same destination, and finland had to accept germanys help.

We finns are not proud about collaborating with nazis, but it had to be done. Read some history, and you will get to the same conclusion.

  • @nuke7777777 btw, the assault by russia to finland in the summer of 1944 was three times larger than the normandy landing, and the artillery barrage the finnish defenders withstood was one of history's largest, and taking into count the small area of the barrage, it was a miracle how the finns stopped one of the mightiest military powers of the time. Yeah, our ancestors just didnt put up a fight and gloriously die trying: they stopped em. Against all odds.

finland is damn proud to exist today.

  • @janzki777

are you on purposely trying to forget or just refuse to admit that Finland was the direct cause for the losses of over 1.5 million soviet lives during the siege of Leningrad.

btw 1939 Finland indeed successfully defended against soviet union, but in 1944 soviet union steam rolled through Finland, so please review your facts.

  • @nuke7777777

So by not attacking or bombing St. Petersburg Finland was the direct cause of those lives lost. So making absolutely sure that Finland wouldn't take part in the siege it still somehow managed to be the direct cause of the siege? Interesting. And if you are giving a 50% succes rate against a country so massively more powerful like Russia I'll gladly take it. Doesn't look so good on the Russian side though having such a rate against a speck on the map.

  • Vassily Zaitsev #3?! Damn! he is the better!

  • @lokillo911

no he ain't, enemy at the gates in not realistic

  • häyhä on paras...

  • Why killing is so facinating?

  • @juuso257 Because when you kill, you get to live a bit longer. ;)

  • @juuso257 Because when you kill, you get to live a bit longer. ;)

  • Its Simo Häyhä not haya

  • the american is one the 2nd place because he made a kill of 2,286 meters with a m2 browning machine gun ... he also assasinated lots of high ranked viet kong. and im not american im finnish so i still think simo häyhä is better

  • @OmgItsRap America posses the best snipers.

  • @blackfeatherarchery might of accidentally commented on the wrong person

  • @blackfeatherarchery no ? canadian and british snipers are the best these days

  • @OmgItsRap They have made some awesome shot canada and britian but they still cannot match the united states snipers.

  • @blackfeatherarchery wow it's not even by far easier actually shot a gun -_-

  • @MrDip02 What was that.

  • @blackfeatherarchery wait im so confused

  • @MrDip02 What about.

  • It seems to me wrong to compare snipers from different wars.

  • @FellixGuns Yes, some were national heroes while others on the list were just mercenaries.
