  • @heffron91 I know that this is a -500, EK only send 777-300 -200 to Hamburg.

2 years ago EK send A340-500 to DXB and a A332 from Hamburg to JFK.

  • @HamburgAirport Well you're the first in 58,000 to point that out, thank you.

  • @manbal100 have you tried Google Posky Aircraft? there seems to be quite a bit about FSX if that is what this is in relation to.

  • good for cows runway incursion

  • haha there r cows !!

gr8 method to" welcome to NZ ''

  • @12moOons glad you like it, uploaded a brand new one today with Emirates landing in Melbourne. thanks for viewing.

  • 0:36 thats funny :D

  • @srsns lol

  • wow, i doesnt know that EK have an A340-600 !!!!

  • @HamburgAirport i thikn it is an a340-500 because they do not have -600's. you should know as Hamburg Airport Fan, cause Emirates flies with the -500 on Fuhlsbuttel regularly

  • 3ashow ^_^

  • @cutyvill

hahaha aba asafer 3ala this plane :D

  • Gotta love the A340's

  • @kjdensem1 true!

  • I was on this aircraft this time last year EK407 from melbourne to dubai :)

  • one of the coolest videos on youtube i would think!!

  • @NaughtyLover92 hey thanks

  • soooooooooooooooo quiet

  • @Thebmwisthebest wouldn't be if it was taking off. :-)

  • this plane has tailstrike at the same airport

  • looks like the cattle does not mind airplanes around :)

  • true, wish I could have given them a camera to hold! and as for the smell of jet fuel.... wonder if their milk or beef would have a hint of it.

    thanks for the comments.

  • what model of plane is this?

  • @dark8spirits this is an A340

  • thats a nice landing i seen some pretty shaking ones lol

  • hey thanks for taking the time to write. much appreciated.

  • Excellent Video.

The AIRBUS A340-500 Is Of ULTRA LONG HAUL.

    EMIRATES IS AN EXCELLENT AIRLINE.

    Greetings.

  • Does anybody know if that flight makes a stopover in Australia? The distance from Dubai (cca 14 200 km) is a lot even for Airbus A340-500. Thanks.

  • hi, i did a search on their site and to get to Auckland from Dubai you have to fly via Brisbane. I also see on their site they now allow an extra 10kg of extra free checked baggage. mmmm

  • or Melbourne.

  • Thx a lot mate. BTW, yesterday I read somewhere that Emirate Airlines want to buy a big share in the Auckland airport to make it their hub. Good news for NZ passengers, bad news for Air New Zealand. Thanks again.

  • i flew with airubs A380 from sydney to auckland which was heading to Dubai . On my return to sydney i took another A380. this means they do have daily flights from sydney , auckland then dubai and vice versa

  • cool vid, i work on emirates in first class and never really get to see the landings etc! thanks for posting

  • hey thanks.

    m

  • The only 600 in to new zealand is Thai

but i'm sure they bring in 777's now

unless it's only for the summer/winter period swap

  • is that the Airbus A340?

  • is that a airbus a430-500? was written below and the answer was yes.

  • Ok, thanks

  • thank you. hope you like the new stuff on my new HD handycam.

  • u got a great zoom on your cam nice video!

  • awesome!!!!!!

  • is that a airbus a430-500?

  • yes

  • Catherine Tate, yeah and you know what tags are for? good. Thanks for the info but when all is said and done it landed and didn't crash and whether it was Qantas or Air NZ I got it coming in and smelt the jet fuel.

  • Sorry, finger trouble. 406 is mel/akl, and 412 is syd/chc.

  • EK406 DXB-SYD-AKL. EK412 DXB-MEL-CHC. Those are the Airbus routes. All operated on the -500. B777 flies via Asian Pacific Rim to BNE/MEL/SYD, and then onwards to New Zealand. Emirates is starting a DXB-BNE A345 this year. Not sure if it'll connect to NZ. There's also double daily DXB-PER, with no further connection. These 2 flights are operated by B777, but is switching to A343/345 sometime this spring.

  • @bossthefluff - there are no longer Emirates services between MEL and CHC.

  • Bowered? Anyway, one of your tags says 777

  • It;s an Airbus A340-541, not 777. Anyway, nice video. I love Emirates

  • I never said it was a 777. they only have two engines. Bovvered:-)

  • i love how theres cows just casually at the airport

  • cool eh. maybe high on jet fuel. hehe Don't live there anymore, moved to Brisbane last month. thanks for the message.

  • The cows told me they get pissed off with planes flying over at 2am. That's what they said.

  • HAHAHA!!!!!! LOL

  • Isnt it from Duabi, Sydney because its an A340-500 the 777 goes to Melbourne well thats what i heard correct me if im incorrect

  • isnt the route dubai,brisbane,auckland

because ive been on this plane

  • lol me too and i have been from dubai, sydney, new zealand and i have a friend that flys with emirates and he sometimes flys the 777 to brisbane but i wil check if the exact route of the 345 and if it goes to melbourne

  • Yep the 345 goes from dubai to mebourne or then auckland but no records show the 345 at brisbane proabbly there is but not sure anyways there we go lol

  • amazing

  • :-)

  • OMG!!! Cows grazing at the end of the runway?

  • No they're spotting, haha :/

  • Hey thats that lookout car park on Puhinui rd i luv going there on lunch breaks thats a better way 2 view planes coming in & taking off instead of paying $4 an hour @ the airport car park:) nice vid bro GO THE ALL BLACKS! lol

  • correct. thanks.

  • cool vid i love emirates especially first class!! :)

  • i am guessing the wind is in a different direction since planes must take off into the wind.

  • Nice vid but I wish there was another vantage point at Auckland for us plane freaks to get closer and really feel the power(without security tackling us). I would love to live on the hill at Wellingtron! You could never get tired of watching crosswind action!

  • very true. it is good though when the wind is in a different direction and planes take off towards you.

  • what are the conditions required? Never seen planes take off the other way.(Im sure its a simple reason, but there is no such thing as a dumb question)

  • isnt the a345's a long range for emirates

  • Cool

  • Nice Vid!

  • thanks hayden1250

  • i love to see new zealand, its beautiful country

  • you can say that again!

  • EK 406 from DXB via MEL. The A345's are nice aircraft.

  • Thanks Rakim8
