Sweet Vid. I thought the military bits were a bit out of place for the song as well, and take the thrust of the song to be a critique of American perceptions of success. Fitting in, making money, displaying ones trophy's, having power all trump the supposed motivation for going to college which is to actually learn something.

Nitpicking aside, the video pretty much nails the J. Biafra dischord. What's with the Owl?

Biafra formative punk years were in San Francisco. On the outskirts of S.F. there is an organization called the Bohemian Grove or Club that has existed since the 19th century. Most Presidents have belonged to it. It is where the elite meet to worship at a large 40' stone owl at a ceremony known as 'The Cremation of Care'. There a child effigy is sacrificed and burnt to a voice over recording by member Walter Cronkite. Look on Wiki under Bohemian Grove...

i dont wanna got way ot , but thanks to you (again) i took an in depth look at alex jones stuff , (at that point only watched endgame and that other 9... movie) and a few episodes. it litterally pieced the parts together, bilderburg, bohemian grove, eugenics ... all that stuff was hidden in plain sight, dunno how manytimes i can say this but thumbs up , at some point "little" (positive) actions like these will hopefully and eventually wake people up so not only owl are awaken
