  • i have a 2007 GSXR600 and it weight's 355lbs and just fucking around with my friends 08 charger hemi i blew past him at 154 MPH and didnt even have it fully peged so personaly i think the bike all stock can go at least 170mph, this summer i will find out!!!!! lol

  • why do you have a 750 cluster on a 600? i own a k5 600 and they redline at 15.5k. the 750's redline at 14k as does yours.

  • i had put the 750 cluster on it a while back (bought from ebay), after i had crashed the bike and ripped the front end off... as for redlining, it's more than obvious that the bike's rpms goes past 14K.. regardless to all the naysayers, this bike was only running a stock 600cc motor at that time (at this present time, not so much.. lol)..

  • u maybe can go faster if u took off the goviner

  • wow i had a 99 gsxr 600 and my speedo said 190 200 racing a gsxr 1000 and thats what his speedo said damn it had to be off alot then lol mine was far from stock tho idk now a got a 2001 gsxr 750 i paid 1300 for with new motor and 19800 on the frame

  • its weird how a bike can be a 0.6liter engine compared to a cars 1.6 liter and the bike would piss all over it

  • thats awesome!! My K5 600 modded out is faster than this.. like way faster.

  • i think the speedo does not go higher then 186 mph... sound like your maschine is doing more.

    Nice Setup.

  • thats not an gsxr 600 its an 750 look at the rpm redline is at 14k

  • you guys are idiots

  • that thing is screaming!

  • What modifications are done to this bike? No way that's a stock 600

  • @n2drifting

per the vid description, 100% stock engine.. only a k&n filter, yoshi slip, and homemade tre...

  • What modifications are done to this bike? No way that's a stock 600

  • Just bought an 07 gsx-r topped out at 301 km/h...gps to verify the speed

  • I think that the GPS would give you a inaccurate reading

  • what brand and model gps is that?

  • must have some sick winds for the speedo to be that off

  • Is it on stock gearing? Or is it like -1 in the front? That will throw it off aswell.

  • btw u sure that a 600cc cause a 600 has 17000 rpm while a 750 has 16 000 rpm

  • this is a gsx-r 750 k4-k5 because it does 110mph in 2nd and 134mph in 3-rd plus that the redline is at 14.000rpm when it should be at 15.500rpm on the gsx-r 600 k4-k5

  • For everyone who has this problem with your speedo being off of true speed, and you're really worried about actuall speed, then your best bet is a speedo healer. Google it. It's the best thing since sliced bread.

  • yea that speedo is way off, even with a speedo healer they only do 169/170 tops. that would be redlined at 170 in 6th. no 600 will do that. so i dont know whats up with the speedo

  • 186mph=how many in kmh?

  • prety bad ass run im jelous of ur bike but my camaro goes like 190

  • somethings not right in this video!!!!!!

  • why does your speedo read 186? off im guessing?lol so are these bikes pretty light then or what? powerhouses ive heard..arnt they stock under like 400lbs or some shit haha my fourwheeler weighs more and i can flip that beast over:P haha but yeah nice run..

  • yea all sport bikes spedos are off exspecially at those high of speeds... unless they have a speedo healer on em. my cbr 600rr's acctual weight is 429 LBS. its like 4.08 pounds per HP.

  • no, not under 400 pounds. Under 500 pounds though, try visiting the websites, they give plenty of specification information on the bikes they sell.

  • your fourwheeler is fcking gay!! and you wish you could ride a real bike dont you. ha ha couch riding fck!!

  • @unforgivingod 75 years of R&D... It's a 36 cubic inch motor producing 120hp at the tires! That is proportional to the world's fastest car... Not to mention it weighs 400 pounds and it has better aero then most cars. mtorcyclers FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i just put a deposit on one of these, with a remeus exhaust, fucking excited as!!

  • i have a GSXR 600 2004 model and my top speed on the screen is 274 km/h but i do not have a gps for the real speed.

  • real about 274-10=264

  • just bought an 03 gsxr 600 and it wont tach up over 10500-11000rpm what kinda problem is this

  • the problem is you bought a suzuki. ha ha ha just kidding!

  • @83k30

Maybe a governer/limiter/restricter. The main jap companies (Kawasaki, Suzuki, Honda, Yamahaa) entered a gentlemens agreement to limit their bikes to 186m/hr (300 KM/hr) because they feared that their increasing performance on the bikes would cause government interference with the manufacturing of their bikes.

  • @83k30 the problem is your racing your bike and you just got it

  • my 04 gsx-r is stock other than exhaust and only can get it to go 168

  • I just came

  • that's exactly 300 kmph!

  • 300 kmh is 186 mph....not 168

  • nicee.

    almost 187

  • it wont display 187 because manufacturers agreed to limit production bikes to 186 display to my knowledge. Did you even bother reading the details? He GPS verified only 169, which is excellent for a 600cc bike. There is a common misconception that they will top that, but typically they are mechanically limited to that speed w/o engine work or gearing changes.

  • wow...that speedo is pretty off then i'd say! lol...

  • wow...the speedo is way off!

  • so, 150 on a totally stock machine is doable?

  • easily.. i think 160 stock, is doable...

  • yo i just bought an 04 gsxr600 what speed does the speedo loose it's acuracy at least on your

if you could tell me it would be great thx

  • all bikes lose accuracy over about 60 miles an hour over a hundred they can be roughly 10 % off actual speed

  • @JIMMMYZ305 i have heard on a stock 600 gsxr top speed is 155-169. me im 130 pounds so i should beable to do the 165 range. cant wait till i buy my bike

  • shit thats 308km/h...

  • what size sprocket?

  • all stock, front and rear sprockets...

  • I have an 02 gsxr 600 thats stock except for a modified exhaust can and while the speedo read 173 GPS read 164.5

  • he hit 186mph

  • That's why he said GPS verified 150. When you get that high, the speedo loses it's accuracy

  • hitting a pot hole at 180 isnt that bad

  • what pot hole at 180 there is no pothole you skip right over it like its not even there!!!

  • now thats how you post a top speed video. good job.

  • thats not stock

  • Imagine hitting a pothole...

  • a homemade TRE? dam how did u do it?

  • stock gearing???????

  • yes...

  • I wish i had gps back when i had my 01 gsxr600, it would say the magical 164mph but i think it was more realistically 154mph, hard to tell, i bet the rear tire slips at the higher speeds. It would hit the rev limiter but i think with a rear sprocket change it could have mustered 160mph on a calm day. Nice bike but i spent way too much time driving way to fast.

  • dam that suks if the speedo is of by 15mph!

get the speedon doctor or wtever its called

  • i think they call it a speedohealer but it's deff a good idea to look into it

  • its only off at really high speeds, actually its fairly common for them to be off at that high of speed, a speedo doc is used for bikes with changed gearing

  • thats the 600? the 750 tops out at about 190, thats only a few mph more!

  • I just got back from riding with my friend...I hit 162mph on the freeway on my 07 stock gsxr 600...its was insane....i wanted to see what the max was because i knew it was somewhere around 170-80 but had to slow because of dumbass car

  • The tachos on gixers (as with most bikes) read from the output shaft of the gearbox (front sprocket), therefore you may find that you final gearing is non standard hence why you are able to read 186. I am thinking of changing the gearing on mine, do you find you can leave other 6's through the gears??

  • Geez... How much gas do you think you burned doing that?

I got up to 130mph in my Avalon (car), for like a minute or so and I burned 1/4-1/2 the tank... lol.

Gj man. Idk how you kept it so steady.

  • thats a 400 pound machine with a .6 liter engine, doesnt burn that much fuel compared to a car.

  • Yeah but if your flying around the gas millage is night and day diff then if your cruising on this bike.

  • @gixxer450 erm they sure as hell do when they're ridden like this, lucky to get 10mpg

  • So what the top speed registered by the gps.

  • WHAT EVER IT IS ITS FAST

  • anyway, ask anyone knowledgeable from any gsxr forum, and they'll tell you that the U.S. speedos will stop reading at 186 mph, no matter if you're REALLY going faster, that's why a lot of top speed runners rely on a gps.. and that's why I wanted to use a gps on my runs, as I know there's no way that my mostly stock gixxer sixxer will do 186 mph.. in reality, it "only" did 169 mph, even though the factory speedo pegged at what? the magical "186 mph" limit..

  • if you truly have a '04 gsxr 600, than you should know that the bike has a "shift" light that is user programmable, to illuminate the light at whatever rpm one desires.. if you don't set it (not to mention, arm it) there is no light that will come on, no matter what rpm.. unless of course, you don't have a US spec. bike, and that your country's bikes are somewhat different from ours...

  • so your saying that these speedos are not right after 186?

  • Its not an 04 GSXR 600 thats for sure it redlines to 14000 on this bike, Mine goes to 16000 and limiter lights up when you hit that. Also the reason why your not going faster than 186 is because suzuki from the factory set the speed limitier on all 600, and up not to do more than 186 if your in the united states that is...mines alos white and blue(stock) good attempt none the less.

  • thats a 750, look at the rev counter, it dont rev to 15500

  • wrong! I wish that it was a 750.. if it was, I'd be doing a bit better than 169 mph, I would hope.. anyway, it's only a 600, stock internals, stock tranny, stock gearing, etc.. only has the above mentioned mods.. still don't believe it, oh well.. you're more than welcome to come and ck. out the bike if you're ever in Miami..

  • PT III..

needless to say, the bike didn't surpass the max speed on the 2nd and final run.. anyway, there will always be doubters, and i don't blame them.. there's always someone claiming this and that.. doesn't bother me though, as i have nothing to prove to anyone other than myself, and i did.. if you don't like it, you can always paypal me $20 for my time and gas, and i'll do a re-run, and re-video it from start to finish.. to my gixxer owners and other fellow riders, ride safe.. J.

  • same bike, suzuki for life.

i just went 154 n i thought i was going fast 0_o! 186 must be mind boggling. where u get enuf asfault to hit that kinda speed?

  • PT II.

yeah, the stock/uncorrected speedo is way off, as it pegged 183-186 mph.. regardless, this was the second video footage, while i was trying to beat my first run (done a few minutes earlier), where i hit the 169 mph mark.. that's why if you look at the beginning of the vid, the "max" speed displays 169 mph..

  • sup all.. thanks for the positive comments.. anyway, you guys need to read the "about the video" section.. it'll describe the footage in full.. the gps's max reading won't hold/display the "tenth" reading once you hit triple digits, but during the actual run, the current speed display will.. while topping out 6th gear, trying to tuck in harder on the bike to minimize drag, i kept looking at the gps.. max speed read by the current actual speed (not the max "hold" reading) i saw was 169.6 mph..

  • GPS verified? Where d fuck was it verified? I didnt see it!!!

  • nice work, good to see someone using a GPS, I'm tired of these people claiming "lol dood mah gixxer 600 did 200mph, it said so on the speedo"

  • yeah, stock speedos suck. my bike was reading 100 on the clocks and 85 on a gps :/

  • i hit the rev limiter in 6th, showed 288km/h.

  • top speed kmh??gps

  • good idea. I have a 01 600 and I know by radar at 130 on my speedo, its actually doing 120. I couldnt think of a way to figure out my top which read 176. Now i know what to try.

  • Nice. Mine reads 164 at the top of 6...but you already know that.

  • that speedo is weheheheyay off...186!!! thats nuts

  • So what was the speed the GPS indicated?
