Technically speaking, beside the perfect harmony, pace and pitch, the choir director is a master. separately directing the base, tenors, alto and s. Notice he doesn't stand in one middle spot, he walks to key choir locations to help emphasize, combined with exclamations. Excellent work, composer, art, and above all prayer, this is a portal to heaven.
This is a special song. The intention of the composer was only one: to supply food for the essence. For the one who is not tuned in, this song has nothing to offer.
The Lord's Prayer in this clip is not in Russian, but in old-Slavic or more correctly in old Bulgarian (or contemporary?). The Bulgarians monks were helping king of Kievskaya Russ -Volodymyr to establish the Orthodoxy.
In fact, this is the Russian reduction of the ancient Church-Slavic language. Every nation has it's own reduction, but, for instance, Serbian was decided to be put aside and simply use the most common one - this very one, the Russian reduction. Russians did not take cyrillics from Bulgarians.
Ha, ha... Old Slavonic language is not Bulgarian... it was invented by Constantine and Methodius partly in byzantine empire, partly in Moravia (now Czech Republic)
The language is not russian!!!The language is church slavonic!!!The church slavonic language comes from old bulgarian language!!All slav languages come from old bulgarian language!
Everytime I think of the Orthodox faith this song pops into my head, granted it is in with many byzantine chants, but this is often the most prominent, and it makes me smile at the thought always. God bless you and many thanks for a truly beautiful and wonderous song.
I think that it is probably originally a catholic church, I see an INRI above the crucifix, that and orthodox churches do not, or at least should not have organs in them!
sure it's not an orthodox church, it is tooooo empty and cold to be an orthodox, it is an originally catholic one or reformated . but it happens often, that choirs are invited to perform their concerts in other then the original places :)

Thumb up if you understand that this is real.
Realize what this means in the name or God and
Realize what demons of this world which we were born into condition us to worship as represented overhead the people.
Prayer is scientifically proven to promote healing and construct energy while hate is meant to lower the and dis-harmonize the atomic realms.
And remember, with light, you cannot look back at the shadows stretching behind you.

Quel choeur superbe !
Bon équilibre des voix et j'adore la gestique du chef.
A égalité avec le choeur bulgare Obretenov.
Et hop dans les favoris avec 10 étoiles.

Saints Cyril and Methodius did translate the Bilble from old greek language in old bulgarian language!
Old Bulgarian language, also known as Old Church Slavonic was the first literary Slavic language!
