Lieutenant Watada is not a hero. He is a criminal. He has shown little respect for the laws of the United States. It is a law that when a soldier for the militia of the United States refuses to deploy, he shall be breaking the law of the Uniuted States. Lt. As an Army Officer, I feel obligated to comment. Although the commitment he exhibits for his principles is admirable, his total lack of concern for his men and fellow soldiers is pathetic. He displays a cowardly negligence to fulfill his duty to the men he is charged to lead in battle. Whether you view the war as right or wrong, you must understand that soldiers lay down their own personal beliefs to lead men in combat against those who wish to harm Americans. He is an embarrassment to the Army.

I dont understand why people think this war is illegal its nothing new, preemptive war ha been in our foriegn policy since wwII. If somebody has missles or a gun pointed at you and you can shoot first you gonna do it survival of the fitest. Everbody so raw raw bush is illegal but in reallity we constantly asses and change our foriegn policy to our benefit. the war is unlawful BECUASE the commander in cheif LIED to get the troops in there in the first place
