  • Cool

  • So my car was hit right on the headlights during a hit and run, so the cover is broken as well as damage to the body around the headlight. I've taped over it as a temporary measure. When there is damage to the body as well, does that complicate things and make it harder to fix? Should I just bring it in to someone instead of attempting to do this myself? I should note that this would be my first time trying something on the car. Thanks!!

  • @berryahou35 You may want to have a reputable auto body shop take a look at if for you, to see how extensive the damage is. There may be a few things that they will want to straighten out for you, so that you can properly secure the headlight back into place. Hope this helps you out.

  • You never showed how to just remove the headlight bulb.

How the hell do you get the bulb out?

  • @cleve0h You should be able to twist the bulb and just pull it right out of the lens.

  • thanks, appreciate it

  • BAH! such a chore. My driver side light just went out... #$%^!!!!!!!! great vid thanks! My bolts snapped off too! would you recommend hitting them with some Wd40? to lub up the bolts? thanks

  • @2milehigh If you could get some penetrating oil on them it wouldn't hurt.

  • Thanks!

  • Awesome thanks for the vid,I changed the driver side headlight, went to gas station throttle got stuck almost died...pretty awesome tps woot

  • Can you make a video on how to replace the front bumper on this car.. Thank you greate video.

  • @Usalogic We'll keep this in mind, if we have another Neon that comes in and needs to have something repaired under the front bumper cover. Have a great day.

  • should have done the driver side. It is 10x more harder. I tried today and all the bolts snapped, How would you change the bulb if the light doesn;t come out?

  • @md606569 If you snapped the heads of the bolts the assembly should lift right out. If the bolt studs are still in the holes, you would need to drill them out in order to be able to bolt the light back in place.

  • thank you very informative vid

  • This is awesome, thank you for this.

  • Thank you. I was beginning to think I'd have to loosen the facia and was loath to do so! Headlight installed!

  • great instructional video, thanks.. Ill be replacing my bulb tomorrow,

  • Awesome! This video was a big help, but I wish you would have included a short side comment on "replacing the bulb" in there too.

  • Got it XD and I will be replacing a few things including lights

  • Thanks for posting this. Helped me out. Really have to bend the body to get that damn light out. What a pain... ;)

  • how come the video glitched when taking out the headlight?

  • @uncbrans It glitched because I pulled hard and the light shot right out. So I re-shot it pulling it smoothly and not dropping it :)
