  • Which sho me model flasher is this they offer like 30 different kinds.

  • @snlfan1488 Any one will work. Mine is a 27 pattern one.

  • I'm just a regular guy but damn very nice set up, haha enjoyed the music it was something new and went well with the flash patterns!

  • faniman- there is no light ring, its just reflecting ligt off the house.

  • Where did you get the light ring surrounding the emblem on your grill? Id love that on my 08

  • where did you buy all those lights

  • @rigosierra12 The Cab Lights are from Recon. The LED strips in the mirrors are Wal-Mart or PepBoys (18 LEDs cut down to 9), the grill ones are Princess Auto or something like that. Nothing expensive.

  • That is a cool set up .. How did you get your Sho-me Flasher kit to do that? what setting did you used? And i want to add it to my truck .. How much did it cost ..

  • @ur12cujo, If we were talking about my 1993 Ford F250, I would be fine with drilling into my roof. But Im talking about my 2010 F150. Drilling 15 holes into your roof is a big deal. What do I do If I want to remove them later on. Guess ill have to patch 15 holes! If it is not done correctly then you will get rust and leakage. I have a sunroof, switches, and a on my headliner that could get ruined. I just wanted to know, It is a BIG Deal. Thanks seanaoneill!

  • @24Packman Be sure to deburr the holes, paint them with Tremclad or similar rust paint, and use real silicone. The lights will never leak. I installed a visor on my last truck, had it for 12 years. Not one leak or rusty anywhere when I sold it. I enver removed that, nor do I plan to remove the cab lights so patching is not a concern for me. Enjoy the ride...

  • @24Packman you can buy a visor with cab lights in it

  • Sent you a PM, thanks alot!

  • If I message you my email can u send me some pics if your truck and how you wired it up including controls etc. Thanks

  • @24Packman Sure.

  • Did you drill holes for the roof lights? I got a 2010 F150, but I dont want to drill into my roofline, but I really want cab lights.

  • @24Packman Without drilling holes, you would have to run the power line outside, maybe along the windsheild, and to get the lights to stick, maybe heavy glue!!! Otherwise, each light requires 2 screw holes to mount and 1 hole for the wire to get inside the cab. Yes, it takes a set of nads to drill these.

  • @24Packman - Drilling the holes is NO big deal!!

  • @24Packman go to your local for dealer and they will install them for you and they warrenty all of it so if anything happens that what i did on my 2012 f250

  • That f150 can pull that trailer with no problem?

  • @Maltaridge It was 6600 lbs shipping weight. 1050 tongue. I am within the specs of teh Max Tow of the truck. It pulls it just fine.

  • This is really gay.

  • @chechnya

    And you aren't?

  • @Sismiques No. I'm not.

  • That's hot!!!! Nice Cougar RV trailer as well.

  • Looks good! I really like the way those mirrors look light up. Can't believe Ford didn't do that from factory!!

  • @Klperformance68 I have the same question on why they used a bulb for the puddle lights under the mirrors, and not an LED light, like Dodge has done. Soon I imagine.

  • Looks Great, and the Music matches pretty well to the flashes...

  • Ok, I have the turn signals in my mirrors, how dis you do the rest of your lighting, such as the can over lights, the grill, and others. Which flasher did you use. Brands would be great.

  • @pinem135 Cab lights are from Recon. I wired to a 2pole switch, wired to the LED flasher, and to the running lights so they can be always on, or flashed. Turn signals are stock, but I added a diode to teh wire going to teh flasher. Grill lights are LED fog lights. Flasher is a Sho-Me 27 function flasher. All lights are LEDs, no filament bulbs.

  • How did you light up the orange strip in your mirrors? Sick setup!

  • @thematt89 Small flexi LED strips from Autozone or WalMart. Pop off the reflector, cut a grove to match the LED strips, wire to the rear facing LED strip. To remove the mirror, point all the way down, use a long flat screw driver and unclip the mirror from the holder, behind it. Carefully!! 4 hex screws behind that and the mirrror comes apart and you'll se the wiring. Over at f150forum dot , there are pictures and how to. Look in the 2009 and Newer section.

  • Okay, need a detailed explanation how this is done.

  • it's jt94, that looks sick!
