Thanks for uploading this... sounds fantastic. You obviously took very good care of your records. The only 12" I ever found (used, of course) with the "Soft Dog" flip side was in really bad shape.
Been wishing this would come out on a bonus gabriel disc of rare songs. Along with Biko Remix, Here Comes The Flood in German, I don't Remember (single version, very dif from the album), Slowburn with a different intro from the Mobile Fidelity LP, and a few others. I have them all copied from LP to CD but I want "pure' versions.
i played this at 33 rpm, and it sounded so sinister. I then discovered i had the wrong setting, corrected my error and was so disappointed with the normal speed
This tune was the B-Side of Shock the Monkey 45. That's back when we had these things called "records" I was a bartender in a little red neck burg called Croton. I used to delight in playing it over and over just to annoy the old red necks there. I love this song!
I always thing that listening to this song is like ahving an opium induced dream-hallucination. Not that I know what an opium dream feels like...But well I dig this song. It's so atmospheric. Unfortunately a less-known classic.
I haven't been able to listen to this track in YEARS, because I didn't have a turntable. I remember how weird this was when I first played the SHOCK THE MONKEY B-side, and then I couldn't stop playing it! Cool to know that I wasn't the only one who dug it. Or had even heard of it, for that matter.
Yeah, that was the B side of Shock the Monkey single. That's the weirdest thing though, I was just thinking about this song and how I thought no one would know what it is. Hehe, weird.
merci c'est tout bon !!

Does it actually end abruptly. I thought that I had a cut off digital version.

@oobleckboy My version doesn't end like this, in fact, it has one final drum beat

Is this not the instrumental version of a version with proper lyrics?
