@phlashed1 Tragically Hip strikes me as going through some of the same under appreciation? A sound all their own! In reference to the hip hop sound you mentioned? I DON"T LISTEN to "it"!!!!!!!! Most of what I perceive as bass thumping gobbedygook has 1 major problem! I call it "Kill Whitey" music. A perception of my own by the way,some of the shtuff does sound catchy,but the majority of the music I hear thumping down the street at 2:00 in the morning is meant to piss off parents! Peace?

@stratmantl the a&r man likes to think he knows what the public wants so we got a lot of disco in the 70s and a lot of great bands couldnt git booked what sets this and outher bands apart is the talent and imagination of the artists involved who ever said thay suck must think a g string is ladys clothing, a snake is a reptile and a board is something you use in construction

Amen to that,they rock,very tight as a band plus they've been around since the eighties and still bring the house down .I'll take this over some of the other shite that's being portrayed as music any day.
