  • I Swear guyz when he is talking in that movie the mask is moving! I can see every single emotions only by the power of his voice and his body language. I love V.

  • So V was Agent Smith all along. What an ironic twist!

  • You saw his face in the Matrix. He was Agent Smith.

  • just take Hugo's face and photoshop it with like freddy krueger burns and you will get what V would have looked like...without the beard of course

  • OMFG! So the face of V was Elrond!!! ;P

  • Great movie!!! It reminds me of something. Hugo Weaving does deserve an Oscar. Also, I saw a bio on Natalie Portman and her film career a couple of weeks ago and they very briefly mentioned this movie. They talked a lot about her other movies and of course Black Swan but not V... Things that make u go hum.

  • Mr. Smith,,,:) I can aways remember the face, never the voice. I never tire of seeing it either.

  • epicbeard! that is all

  • How the f*ck could that bitch compare V to batman, they have nothin in common... Who agrees?

  • Comment removed

  • @DaisyEnid7 They do have somethings in common. They were both "born" from some tragic situation which made them what they became; they both use masks to/and hide their identities; both V and batman seem to like things like reading, sculptures, paintings, etc; and all in all, they're both freedom/justice/anti-crime fighters; Besides, they are more "nightly" both of them, and even their costumes have some resemblances.

  • "Remember, remember the fifth of November, the gunpowder treason and plot I know of no reason why the gunpowder treason should ever be forgot" Like if you watch V For Vendetta every fifth of November

  • He rarely said a word beginning with V, bad Hugo.

  • thumbs up for hand gestures

  • so that's why he wanted to kill Captain America so badly, he hates heroes xD

  • hes the voice of Megatron too. hes the best

  • @ukfan1992 Also he's Agent Smith from the Matrix!!!

  • @ironcitydevildog no shit sherlock!:D

  • Mr. Anderson..

  • @ams3401 My name is Neo!

  • @ams3401 My name is Neo!

  • Finally I get to see his face!!!

  • Agent Smith. King of the Elves. V.

    Hugo Weaving is a BADASS.

  • This movie deserved an Oscar. HE deserved an Oscar. I fell in love with a character without ever seeing his face. That is incredible acting right there.

  • His voice was great in Babe as well. Babe: great movie.

  • Hugo Weaving reminded me very much of Claude Rains in this movie. Check out the speech he does while with his woman in the original Invisible Man. Awesome performance !!

  • wow, always wondered who the voice behind the mask belonged to, very jean luc picarde esque, in the sense that his voice is so very distinctive as 'V'. bloody fantastic.

  • Everything that has a beginning has an end, Neo.......

  • MISSSSSTTTERRRR anderson

  • When an actor who spends an entire movie behind a mask can make you feel emotions, then that is an amazing actor.

All they have to use at that point is their body language and their voice.

    Hugo Weaving is just... amazing.

  • just finished watching this film for the first time. it.was.amazing.

  • Fuck the Illuminati!

  • Remember, Remember the 5th of November

  • @animerevenge999 the gunpowder treason and plot, for i know of no reason why the gunpowder treason should ever be forgot

  • HOLY SHIT. i just watched the movie today and i fell in love with V even though he was wearing a mask. Hugo did an amazing job. His words and his character really got me. <3

  • @LaNanurXxX I'm right there with you. I, too watched this movie for the first time on November the 5th, 2011. Remember, remember. The 5th of November.

  • @yodudewassp Fair point, but he's got such a distinguished face I just picture him under that mask, and it's probably likely he had multiple stunt doubles, most of the film probably wasn't even Weaving, but I could be wrong.

  • I think they should've kept the actor playing V anonymous, it would have only added mystery to the character, but now when you watch the film you can only picture Weaving under that mask.

  • Mister Anderson!

  • Mister Anderson.

  • HW is amazing.

  • I really think V was best his role ever.

  • @This1sS0Stup1d

No. You need to see his performance in 'Little Fish'. Its by far one of the finest performances by an actor I've ever seen. He is utterly devastating in Little Fish.

  • @This1sS0Stup1d

A glimpse of Hugo Weaving in 'Little Fish': watch?v=tqJFG-pDW9s

  • Agent Smith

  • megatron is awesome

  • Agent Smith. He played that role to a T.

  • What a wonderful actor. This movie was totally underrated. I watched it for the first time yesterday on DVD - chills galore! We need to take this film at heart - as far as the media is concerned - are we really being told the truth?

  • I meet him to get his autograph. His beard really is that epic!

  • who was the original actor? what happened ?

  • 10 people were afraid at night in their bed that V would come after them :p

  • i love his voice

Elrond's way of speaking so smooth yet so passionate!!

And mr Smith's performance was awesome hes was a villain both in actions and way of speaking, u could sence the emotions, no u could sence the hatred in his voice!!

But he really blew me in V!!! how could any1 express so good a masked man's feelings!!! great movie great really !!!

One of the 10 best actors alive in my opinion

  • Agent smith X)

  • Misssterrr Anderssson

  • What a wonderful man.You are one of my favorite actors.Hollywood you are missing an opportunity with this golden actor. What a performance and with voice only!I only wish they had made "Return of V".

  • @DeadShyGuy thats what makes him the perfect actor for the role of V

  • Like this if you've seen V for Vendetta more than 5 times! :D

  • @chuby1tubby If i could like 60 times it'd be close to how much i seen it lol

  • @chuby1tubby You're missing a couple of zeros behind that five there...

  • MEGATRON

  • @020amsterda020 yes and the 1994 movie The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert

  • mr. anderson

  • My name is Neo !

  • Awesome actor, loved the movie so much. Its one of those movies that gets you hooked and you keep watching to see whats going to happen. Hugo Weaving and Natalie Portman brilliant.

  • Such a great actor ... I love is charachter in The old man who read love stories Weaving can play so many things. And his smile that was not seen in The Matrix or a very good film as Vandetta (just kidding perhaps he does behind the mask) is literally disarming

  • Hugo Weaving: The actor's actor.

  • Hugo Weaving is awesome, especially as V and Smith.

  • Hugo should run for President and Matt Damon should be his Vice xD

  • @MichaelCastian Weaving/Damon 2012!!!!

  • He should of been a dwarf not an elf. What a magnificent beard.

  • Red Skull...

  • Fuck. Hugo Weaving loves to grow beards in his off time. He grew a beard like this after Wolfman.

  • he sounds like he was wasted about two hours ago and its wearing off.

  • Somebody give him an Oscar, please!

  • Mr Anderson....

  • What a smart, down to earth guy.

  • Happy Birthday, Hugo. Too bad you're a bad guy in most of your movies, including the upcoming "Captain America." Come to think of it, you're wearing a mask again. Still not a veneer of vanity, though.

  • these questions are so much better than that chuck movie guy.

  • hes awesome from matrix =]

  • wow agent smith

  • terrorist, like using the word crazy. its true people need to be more open and try to understand why people do things rather than just label them without understanding.

  • @Hoppus217 Also don't forget his other works, like The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, From Hell and The Voice of Fire.

  • 10 people have pip-squeak voices.

  • Strangers from distant lands....

  • he was awesome as megatron

  • i guess I buy bluray that V thing becouse this guy now

  • Honestly, there are some people who are born to talk. Morgan Freeman definetely. And then Hugo. Now why can't they be the person who talks constantly about something that doesn't matter and annoys the crap out of you?

  • He kind of has his own version of sign language.

  • 8 people are orcs

  • @reniisgod LOL

  • Hello mister anderson...

  • Well hes right about the fact that Terrorist is over used.

Terrorism-Acts used by a weaker force against a stronger one to change the political policy.

Theres nothing to "understand" about it however. In the US we used terrorist tactics against the British during the American Revolution. Theres nothing to understand.

Unless you fuck with a country that bombs your ass back 30 years.

  • @SquashDog01 watch who benefitted from 9 11 on here and see for your self

  • @dicaprio20us

God i fucking hate 9/11 conspiracy theorist. Try and live in reality a little more please.

  • @SquashDog01 Sorry fella, believing George Bush was so difficult.

Questions need to be asked about it. No convincing answers.

I don't think it's unreasonable to ask those questions.

  • @SquashDog01 Wow you got zionist shit in your brain... just like so many of you foolish americans.

  • @PatriotGermanEmpire how does what he says have to do with jews, hes right terrorism is completely over used but not just recently it has always been over used throught history and always will be because it is simply easier to blow shit up and make people choose in your favor than by getting to them in a more passive way, plus its kind of simple if you want someones attention just blow something up that hold symbolic value to them

  • @PatriotGermanEmpire You had your country beaten, your capital city occupied and Empire demolished. You have no voice.

  • Oh my.....wen i watched the movie, I fell in love with the voice. You are sexy, Hugo!

  • mmmmmiiisttttttterrrrrrr aaaaannnnndeeeerrrrrsoooonnnnnnnn

  • I love how actors are smarter than politicians.

  • @SummerPig3 I'm not sure if my though on that is accurate but from mine perspective I guess this is because at least some times characters need to "feel" what people feel with the problems they have in daily edges, this of-course demands a social movie or a movie related to the problems as a result character maybe gets himself in others people shoes what politicians don't do. But its totally mad how few rule many...

  • @SummerPig3 Actors at heart just want to understand the world, that is why. To understand perspective and character.

  • @SummerPig3, hah, best quote ever man.

  • @SummerPig3 depends on the actor

  • @SummerPig3 That's not true in the case of tom cruise lol

  • actorts aren't smater but truthful

  • @beatles349 and that makes them less smarter why?

  • @SummerPig3 I'm pretty sure the average 4th grader is smarter than politicians... ha

  • @SummerPig3 I would agree that Hugo Weaving and select others (usually from other countries) are, but not most from Hollywood.

  • I guess that Hugo would be one of the most memorable actors in the future....I mean "Matrix","LOTR","V for Vendetta"....

  • what with the Wachowski brothers and making people bald? lol just kidding.. this guy is a great actor,. i just love the way he talks.. and i didnt realised who he saw until i saw the cast and i was so surprised!
