  • THE two sickest fucking schoools of all time BUCKS, then SDSU in that order obvs.

  • wow nice gesture, i hate ohio state less now...go aztecs!

  • about time ohio does something good for once

  • the ohio state band i beleive can make any fight song sound so much better with the all brass

  • Epic as is everything OSU does. Thank you for posting this, I have a friend who goes to SDSU, and he confirmed it sounded better.

  • is your friend IN the marching band?

because to regular people, who arent as cool as to be in marching band dont understand the difference between better, and trying/not trying.

  • GO BUCKS

  • tbdbitl sends a big scarlet and gray welcome to our guest from SDSU

  • it's just good to know, no matter where you go people always rush during the cheer "S D S U SDSU aztecs fight"

  • LOL! Pet Peeve #107.

  • @pkingsleyisback this goes back to the days at the Mesa - I think it has always been rushed. Fans need to get a metronome! :P Marching Aztecs 95-99! :)

  • Aztecs should of won that game

  • Ohio State, that is pretty classy! Thanks for the post, as a former SDSU student, I never get tired of hearing our fight song!

  • When did OSU play SDSU?? and do they play all their opponents fight songs??

  • Sept 2005 and only nonconference opponents. Could you even remotely imagine Ohio State playing Michigan's? That outright blasphemy!

  • it seems bad, but yes tbdbitl plays the other team's fight song as a welcome to the guests. they usually play it better than the visiting band!

  • @FemBone No the OSUMB plays every opponents fight song including M*ch*g@n's. The only time we don't play the opponents fight song is during bowl games when the bowl committee limits our performance times.

  • @FemBone OSUMB and UMMB regularly play each others' fight songs. Every single year, in fact. All the Big Ten schools play their opposing team's fight song.

  • @ieatglue44 Now *that* is surprising! I thought is was only OOC opponents!

  • you bet...every one. Including that team up north's.

  • @20dowork08 its respect from the Big Ten schools to play visitors fight songs mostly at football games but we (we being wisconsin) always play our visitors fight song first for the 5th quarter.

  • @AirRaider56 Ohio State also plays the visitors fight song first during postgame.

  • dude totally rushed!

  • @roller0coaster0gal The OSUMB plays every fight song at 180bpm and in a lot of cases other school fight songs fall in the 120-144bpm range, so in that sense TBDBITL does in fact rush but its done on purpose.

  • i was sitting right in the section cheering San Diego State against my alma mater. i think i'm the one clapping. the band didn't stop inbetween the verses for SDSU Aztecs Fight! we scored on them on the kickoff return.

  • 1st play from scrimmage, Kevin O'Connell to Brett Swain, 80-yard touchdown.

  • awesome!

  • SAN DIEGO STATE UNIVERSITY!

  • Ohio State c/o 2004. I live in San Diego now (pacific beach) and this is the best city in the world. Oh and our band playing the SDSU fight song is a Big10 tradition. All Big10 bands play their opponent's fight song out of respect. Hope you liked it!

  • AZTEC PRIDE SDSU '95

  • WHY NOT...AZTEC PRIDE!

  • Fight on and on ye Aztec men Sons of Montezuma We will win again Keep your spirits high Never bow a knee We will fight till victory Fight on and on ye Aztec men Proudly raise your banners high For it's the Red and Black Hail to our team San Diego Aztecs fight!
  • .... why ?
