i strongly disagree (the first part) bollywood is unfortunate that they could not get more great songs from him. Yesudas is still the best and most respected male singer in india. There may be more popular singers in (north)india, but for sure, popularity cannot be used for deciding the best. if that was the case indias best actors would be salman / sharukh / rakhi sawant etc. i hope u understand what i mean. please dont send hate comments on this. please never ever mention he is unfortunate.

Sri.KJ.Y always had maintained humility and is well-known for his humanitarian attitude. He had adapted himself to all three major religions - I mean Hindu, Christian and Muslim-if I remember correct. He's disciple of divine Chembai Swami. Started wearing white at first because of poverty, later accepted it as his only attire. He resembles Jesus himself, i feel. India's bless! May God bless.

Only a few know that Yesudas is the one who received national award for the best singer seven times. He is one of the best singer in South and is settled in USA now.

I completely agree with you. I guess, if he was not threatened by Kishore, he would have dominated the bollywood. Kishore never expected him to sing a disco song like 'mana ho tum'. what a pity!
