the amp is nice i guess, but i would never pay for a "relic", in my mind that's like going down to my local car dealer and telling him that i want a new car but make it look like it came out of a junkyard, or going out to the bar on a Saturday night and intentionally going home with the ugliest girl there, WTF
You need to try the Jaguar Retro. I have one in Jag Green w/ a Celestion Alnico Gold. Blows away every other amp I've ever had. I had a Naylor right before it.
Hey love the king bee, just got a sherwood green light relic from them! What's on your headstock? is that their logo? I got mine off a guy and he didn't have them put a logo on it
alot of that is due to the fact that I couldn't open it up on the master volume without distorting the camera...now that I know how it translates to youtube, I should be able to dial it in a bit better...still learning....

What is up with all of the 18 watt amps?!
It seems that 30 watts would be the way to go for a gigging musician....
Unless you're mic'd;;18 watts is rehearsal volume IMHO...
This amp sounds great nonetheless....

seemed pretty harsh for how the knobs were set, and very harsh for your usual taste and your demos
you should have played with the knobs to show if it had any versatility

this amp is expensive man :(
liquidribs 3 years ago
its about the same as the 1974x from marshall, but it looks like you are trading a tremolo channel for master volume.

2500 retail...$1750 street price....don't let the list price scare ya away...they're in the same ballpark as the Dr Z amps....
