Normally he's pretty much okay as a part of Mudvayne in all of their interviews. But for Hellyeh he's like "You know what I'm sayin" and "You ummmmmm you know". I mean what the fuck is that man? Be what you are dont get all howdy when youre with Vinnie Paul. Great singer by the way.

ive never understood why they call it southern rock. the south is a region, not a style. i understand that its like the stereotypical stuff from the south, but im from the south and like stuff like mudvayne, five finger death punch, etc. I get why they might call it that, but i dont thing they should. I just don't like genres... they seem like they try to define all the songs under them as a certain mood or style.

What makes everyone call it Southern Metal? I know why they do, but i never understood what makes it southern. Sure the lyrics are like the stuff people from the south listen to (not me.... i hate country / love hard rock), but that doesnt make it southern. We don't associate, Pop or Hip Hop or anything with the north. Southern is a region... not a musical style. i get what people are saying when they call it southern rock or metal, but i just think its stupid, personally.

@jkemash exactly i live in washington and where i live is very similar to the south as far as the culture, cookin, and the vibe of the town. Its not that we are tryin to be "southern" its that we were raised in the same manner as our grandparents many of whom are from the south. I assume thats the case here....cultures do travel past their borders remember that people!
