Choosing a car was a pretty hard decision for me, if they had the normal 2012 Porsche to choose, then I would've taken it. But instead I went for the Super Snake, my favorite from the 2 muscle cars. Well, you certainly have an advantage in turns with the BMW, but if I to it right, then I could catch up with my acceleration. 16:16 I thought the same thing man, I also by accident took that way, I didn't even see the roadblock.
I am doing this on Hard difficulty (I wanted to start at Extreme, but its locked) and man this first get away was a fail for me, I failed to make it past the train at least 4 times because when it goes into the cutscene at 6:17 it automatically starts me turning to the left... Hmm, then it randomly didn't do it on the 5th try, and I made it just as close as you did. I thought the ticking from 6:51 - 8:17 was a bomb and I was like "NO, don't go in the restaurant!"
Please can you tell me how did you record your gameplay on ps3?It's really important to me!

My observations -- for those that haven't bought this game yet:
This game will not install, much less run on XP.
You need Vista or greater.
This game requires an XBox or compatible controller.
You can change some mappings, but escape sequences require
certain keys & can't be changed.
The handling is very different, if you're used to other NFS games.
Don't expect magical responsiveness.
Also, expect handling to degrade with speed.
Keep your head. Plan ahead, and you'll do fine.
