It gets me every time I hear this song,as the fitz was a regular fixture at the old Lorain port authority when I was young. I & my buddy would see it from the Erie Avenue bridge crossing the harbor going fishing in Lake Erie. It utterly dwarfed all the other local freighters completely. I was spellbound every time by the sight of the great ship. Anyway,this version sounds like it's being sung by an aging sailor. Cool.
