went to Maui in 2010 for the honeymoon...beautiful place...front street...snorkeling, black sand beaches, hana highway, warren and annabelle's magic show, helicopter ride over the mountains, even shopped at a damn expensive ass walmart...lmao, LOVED it in Maui, we will be back soon Hawaii...Mahalo.....
very well put together picture movie of Maui i've been there 3 years in row 07' 08' 09 and want more nothing but great memories with my kids especially the pictures from Hana, check my pictures out under (peprod)
dude in hana we stayed in the hana kai wich is right by the bamboo in and at 5:32 you can see our room its the one that is on the top right with the deck i loved it there soo much!!
I'm going to Maui June 29th for wedding/honeymoon and staying at the Royal Lahaina and then going to stay at the Bamboo Inn. Haven't decided on wedding locale yet. Is there any place at the Bamboo Inn with tropical views and yet views of the ocean in the background that would be a good wedding location? Help!!!
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! I'm sure you will have an awesome time in Maui--it's a great place to get married. If you want to get married in Hana, you should ask John, the guy who runs the Bamboo Inn. He was quite nice, and he lives there. I was only there for two days. Honestly, if I were getting married in Maui, I would probably do it on the west side of the island b/c it is sunnier there. (Hana is a tropical RAIN forest.)
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it. :) I wanted to add that if you stay at the Royal Lahaina Resort, be sure to stay in the Tower which is newly-remodeled. We had a partial ocean view room (facing south). Also, the Royal Lahaina Resort is a lovely place to get married. If I were getting married in Maui, I would seriously consider doing it there. They even have a pagoda for weddings, and the grounds are beautiful. But it is YOUR big day, so you should do what is right for you. :)
The views in the hotel rooms are unbeatable.

It was great. If you go, I recommend going to a luau near the beginning of the trip to get in the spirit of things. Ka'anapali Beach is amazing!
