A friend has S-Techs with Illumina struts on his 03 Maxima... Wow are those things rough and bouncy. Even changing the Illumina's dampning settings doesn't seem to help much.
Hey man If i get these for my 350z do I just need to get a re alignment after? and can I keep the stock shocks? will the shocks go bad soon after installing these?
I put these S- Techs on my R34 GTR with stock shocker install was easy, spring seated correctly all bolts done tight , but now i get a rattle on both sides in the rear , help ! Product fail
I just got these springs for my civic a week ago.. It looked sweet but also I needed to get me a new kyb shocks and camberkits from eBay. Now I'm rollin :)
@rallysportdirect I wanted to put this on my car once I graduate college... go to school in the bronx .... but the question I have is when I use the springs should I purchase the camber kit just to be safe then get a realignment just to be 100% safe ... also should I change my shocks?
Can someone help me i wanna lower my 1995 honda civic cx with Tien suspension but i don't know if i want to use a camber kit but i want it to look good and everything what setup should i go with?
may i bug you to explain the difference btwn the H and S springs? i have a 2011 Accord sedan n jus wondering which will give me a nice, lowered, agressive look without a loss in ride comfort or damaging my stock parts over time... thanx!
@ryanrosetobs no, springs replace stock ones on your car, coilovers is way more expensive and not necessary unless u plan on high performance track/street use.
Upgraded springs will help this but they arent necessary. I would suggest at checking out the Tein H tech springs. They arent as aggressive(spring rates) as the S techs nor will they give you as much drop but they will maintain a comfortable ride.
is it safe to just cut the springs to drop your ride i want to drop my 02 expediton from the rear a mechanic told me he could do it by cutting them is this safe?
@8320884 think about the purpose of your springs.... uneaven or impropper suspension affects more than one part of your vehicle tires,alignment braking ect.... save and get the correct sus you'll be happier in the long run
i have a honda accord 94 what kind of tein lowering springs will u recommend without sacrificing the ride and is it ok if i only lower the front does it affect the ride? thanks!
I would like to know if you get lowering springs is it neccesary for you to also get camber kit for the front and rear and tie bars and also sway bar and strut bar?
@real1abcda My guess is that the number you gave me is some sort of serial number. Im unable to figure that out for you. I would consult Tein USA for that.
if only change this lower spring to any other suspension, will it damage the suspension kit?? or better put adjustable kit for best recommd.

Depending on what vehicle you drive, you may or may not.
Typically on Subaru's you do not need any additional parts to install these.

Do they come for certain cars or are they universal? I drive a 95 ford probe...how many inches of a drop will you get on the springs alone?
homane13 1 year ago
@homane13
These springs are vehicle specific. Tein does make some for the 95 Probe (GT V6) . 1.3 inch drop in the front and 1.2 inch drop in the rear.

is using aftermarket springs on stock shocks bad? and are these springs available for a toyota corolla 2006
butterflyremixx3 1 year ago
@butterflyremixx3
Running lowered springs with more aggressive spring rates isnt exactly ideal but its much better than stock.
Tein does offer both S tech and H tech springs for that vehicle :)

is this for any car?
mctapout187 1 year ago
@mctapout187
Each spring is specifically designed for the car intended. If your refering to the difference between H-techs and S-techs, yes this is for any car.
rallysportdirect 1 year ago
when installing these lowering springs will my car ride be stiffer or will it be the same, just more lower?
mctapout187 1 year ago
@mctapout187
The S-techs from Tein provide a stiffer and lower feel for the suspension.
The H-techs from Tein are more of a "luxary" spring which will lower your car but give it a nice soft ride.

Rest assured, Tein designed these specifically for a g35.
