I think it'll be a great episode, but I think the whole Dean thing will suck. I mean, if he dies the show is already complicated, plus it would completely lose its main essence:

1.-It's a show about two brothers.

2.-Dean is funny, and without him the show would be about a kickass demon (Sam) who failed to save his brother so he became evil and bla bla bla.

3.-We would have to miss the greatest hits of the mullet rock! lol

Edge of my seat, right. It was boring. Kinda reminded a bit of fanfiction full of chick flick.

I disliked most of 3rd season and I sure as hell, a pun intended, didn't like the finale.

Classic horror movie set up. Bit of music (thank gods it wasn't classical), little girl and lot's of cursing. I suppose I missed the trendy word - evil, but I was kinda of busy yawning.

The only thing I did like was Ruby kicking their asses. In the end, the finale killed my interest for the show.

lilith isn't dead, they won't kill deal then just kill lilth because there will be nothing to work on for the next season. Lilth left Ruby's body before Sammy could stab her with the knife. and Dean will come back because there's no way they'll kill him off because they'll lose a lot of ratings.

I just finished watching this episode about 30 minutes ago and I am angry. Angry I have to wait so long to see another episode. This was one of the best episodes yet. It had everything. Laughs, heart breaks, action, creepy, and everything in between. I have these questions: First, is Ruby dead because I really like her character? Second, why is Lilith so afraid of Sam? He must have some big powers. Third, how in the world is Dean going to get out of Hell? His eyes were demon like also. Cant wait

remember how ava could control demons? well, that was because she embraced her psychic powers, which sam hasn't.. so if one day he decides to; he would be able to control demons too, meaning he could take lilith army away from her, which i think she wouldn't like much.. that's why she wants him dead! and the other questions i guess we'll have to wait.. but i read somewhere that ruby escaped before sam could kill her, so maybe she's not dead after all.. who knows..

All I can say is, if Dean dies and Jensen is not back next year then I will quit watching the show. As someone said earlier, the show is about 2 brothers and it's that brother bond and the way Jensen and Jarrod act and react together, not to mention their on screen chemistry that makes this show a hit. It's as much a part of Supernatural's success as the writing is. For either one to leave would spell the end for this show.

I mean it's a long shot, but what if it's actually one of Sam's visions?

That'd send it off in another direction, and then there would still be the whole race to save him thing but even more of an incentive for Sam to turn evil - especially if he fails and Dean ends up dying anyway

You all know that Dean isn't going to stay dead. There are basically only two characters in the whole show and it's signed on for a fourth season. So whatever happens Dean will return, it can't just be a one man show. I mean, look at Sam - he came back. Something's gotta give.
