Actually, the ones voting against the gays are not conservatives. The judges in the CA decision were all appointed by Republicans who granted the right to marry. When put to Democracy, all the liberals in CA voted against gay marriages, in 2004 in Oregon, 73% of Oregonians voted against gay marriage which only 37% voted for Bush. Arizona, a red state, VOTED AGAINST THE BAN. Republicans favor tax cuts and anti-crime (both pro-gay). Seems to me, you're taking someone's bait. Grow a brain.
