SB 1070 is one the best pieces of legislation to ever be passed it has American support in as much that 44 states are drawing their own form of the law
Myself and 70% of Americans are in agreement with Arizona on this law, as for the 30% against it goes I have one question, when did it become acceptable to break the law in America
Great video - very interesting. I wonder, however, if racial tensions will be created by Arizona-style immigration laws, or if these laws are the result of such tensions...
GREAT video!! We have to stop any and all other SB1070 copycat bills!! Kobach, FAIR, Arpaio, IRLI, and all of thier cronies need to be stopped. No human being deserves to be targeted just for being a certain color or looking a certain way. Keep fighting to the good fight, to protect the rights of all our brothers ans sisters in this great nation which is the land of the FREE.
Border Raven, if behavior, or conduct, was truly the focus here, there would be no need to treat people differently based on "reasonable suspicion." If public safety were at all a concern, behavior and conduct should be the ONLY reason police are ordered to detain people. Saying that "reasonable suspicion" does not imply color or race does not make it so. And, this dubious claim is particularly hard to accept when proponents of the law obsessively focus on Latinos & Latino culture.
@95O0Liberty, Latinos are affected by the laws in direct proportion to their contribution to violating the laws. If the race don't want to be bothered by cops, then the race needs to police itself better.
@95O0Liberty, Under SB1070, as amended by HB2162, reasonable suspicion is never reached, if lawful presence is proven when the police ask for driver's license, insurance and registration, and there are a reasonable number of passengers being safely transported.

@dachouffe These laws are the result of a lack of comprehensive immigration reform on a national level.

Arizona SB1070, as amended by HB2162, is not about color or race, it is about behavior and responsibility.
