bah I guess im just bitter I think im more upset with the fact that theres a Book out there I cant read and nobody has read in years Maybe One day Ill Learn the languadge and start trying to translate em I think i was more just upset that my family was dieing off lol Please disregard my earlyer Rantings My uncles a good man its just with my grandfathers passing it sort of left a lot of questions in me.and I guess youtubes not exactly a proper outlet ^_^
my grandfather before he died had duzens of old books in his basment going back to year 800 or so. his family brought them to canada after the volcano went off. unfotunaty today nobody in my family can speak icelandic let alone read it becouse my grandfather dident want us to be immigrants
well My sister got a journal or two and a really old icelandic bible the rest went to my uncle knowing him they will probably be thrown out in one of his drunken rages. so im guessing there days are numberd wich is kind of a shame really. im the youngest in my family so i dont have much say :P nah im not bitter cough cough
Thats a real shame. Old books like that are absolutely priceless and will never come again. Theyre unique. You should atleast try to get them back. I cant sleep before I know theyre safe.
