As a 3rd generation crane operator and very familiar with erection and operation of the larger Liebherrs this is just awesome. An incredible job of showing something that most people will never get to see in real life.
@Leeworm73 So true . And nice to have someone to verify this is how they go together . I have never seen anything like it..I have imagined what it must be like . But I still imagine a little bit of chaos amongst a ballet of vehicles . I'd imagine logistics must be a bit of a nightmare .
But how did you got it that the pictures move, so that the models look like their are realy are moving? Did you use a special program? So yes, witch one? Because i want to do something to. It's very cool!
fantastic... not into cranes but sat and watched the whole thing, that was brilliant and well worth the time it took you to do , will reccomend to all!!!
this is the best video ive ever seen i love it cant get enough ! inspiring honest , ive just ordered my first crane and i cant wait !. Thank you for sharing and i look forward to more , cheers mate ausyguy1
class video , i think its ridiculous how many trailers and cranes it takes just to put up one crane ,(not slagging the video) it must cost an absolute fortune to erect that in real life, and feckin ages , i'dsay as long as it took to shoot this vid!!!!!
Now that is the coolest set of toy any guy could want. Very good animation. Too bad there isn't enough room for a diorama. With that attention to detail, I'm sure that would be really good also. Really cool.
wow very impressive ! Thank you to have passed time to take photos, and to make this really cool movie. Love the way you built it, respecting true life methods with your other cranes and trucks.
That's very cool!!:) I'ts nice to watch. I am from Holland, and we work a lot for Mammoet (van Seumeren Group) I live in Woerden, and that's near the town that's called De Meern, Mammoet use to have his home base there. Now they moved to Schiedam near Rotterdam. But thanks for the video;) Greets from Holland.
it really takes long to build cranes like this one oon construction sites and you did the smame u can see how light is going out and its dark then its light again really cool the wholle film is right onley the background but that doesnt mather and i think im gona buy one to i really like cranes if build one from scrap but how expensive is this one
Wow that is really fucking cool, where can I buy one and how expensive is it ? :P
Btw there is 1 thing I don't get. For example at 1:17. You see the boom of the yellow crane come up by itself. ofcourse that doesn't happen in real life. But how do they get the already attached boom part to line up with the new part. I mean you can't push it up or something XD.
Please let me know if you know the awnser. I'm really interested :P
I am not sure of what you are referring to. If you mean the tiny movement immediately after 1:17, then I must have bumped it. If you mean the gantry raising at about 1:29, there are hydraulic rams underneath to raise it.
@mizmixer He's talking about making the bottom pins at the butt and 1st section. You would have had to swing the assist rig right about 10ft. and re-rig the 1st section. Awesome vid. Made me homesick.
i have a 300-500 tone liebheir mobile crane one and it was 500$ around and that was on sale lol my dad got it and i asked if i could have it he rents cranes and im a future operator cant wait!
@soundmachine6 The (red) assist crane lifts the section off the flatbed. Then they line up the top 2 pins, lift it up higher, (the section attached to the crane lifts up also, because it would be pinned at the top) then line up the bottom and pin it. The new section is always free to move, so yes you can push it to line up the top pins, and lift both sections together for the bottom of the boom to come together. Hope this helps
@soundmachine6 ohhh and in real life, the crane does come up by itself, hydraulic rams or cylinders push it up so you can attach the tracks to the crane.
