First variation: she is trying to anchor while doing a forward motion (an anchor is a body position where the center is back behind the forward foot), and she is staying over the forward foot. This will likely result in her anticipating the next lead forward.

Second variation: she is settling the hip back, and it's pushing her center forward. This is probably fine for Jive, but it won't work for West Coast Swing.

I don't think she knows what an anchor is. Why do people like this teach?
