  • is there any way to animate it on the same software???

thanks for the tut it is very usefull

  • @KAIVIDEOPRO You can do some simple animation in Xara and export as Flash. You should try a demo and check out whatever tutorials you can find online.

  • Thanks, this is excellent for comic artists who seek lossless and scalable vector inking and coloring. I just tested their free demo and it is fantastic!

  • Zeb. I enjoy seeing your work on TG and have really learned a great deal from your videos here. Practice makes perfect, so I'd better get to it!!!

  • @NotAJaffa Hey, thanks! Glad they have been a help. Maybe one of these days I'll post some more tutorials, they seem to be my most popular.

  • well i have just finished with this tuts and they are really great, helpful.

Great video quality, nice voice explanation, nice job, thanks for uploading this Zeb.

  • Thanks for all the encouraging comments! I'm working on a new tutorial showing how I use XXP with Toon Boom Studio.

  • How do i draw a full comics page on Xara with all the squares and rectangles with drawings inside and lettr balloons just like in a comics book?

    thanks

  • @changewind13 Just the same as drawing anything in Xara. I usually put the frames (rectangles) and speech bubbles on a separate layer and a layer for the text. Then the drawing on one layer, color, backgrounds, etc., each has its own layer.

  • How do you put the drawings inside the frames?

    thanks

  • @changewind13 I don't think we are quite "on the same page." You should download a trial version of XXP and try it out. In any case, you can put different elements on separate layers or use one layer, it's up to you. So if you draw one frame--an empty rectangle--then you draw your picture inside it, i.e., within the rectangle.

  • Nice tutorial. Easy to follow. I've been using Xara for 8-9 years and that's the best tutorial I've seen.

  • very nice.........

  • awesome!that program seems alot better for drawing than illustrator.
