To get Rosalina, you need Super Mario Galaxy or get star ranking in all cups in mirror mode. To unlock Mirror mode, win all 150 CC cups. I'm not sure about all 1st place though.

one way too unlock most charaters is i think to beat more than 4,000 or 5,000 races it may seem like alot but i would do it rather than to do all the other things unless it was easy :P

@KingJulien12 It also works with karts. You just jerk the Wii remote up when the pow comes (not BEFORE the pow happens --- right at the TIME the pow is happening). This is the technique to avoid POW blocks when riding Bikes AND Karts.

Okay, so I just made a comment 7 hours ago (right under this :) ) and I actually just unlocked Rosalina. For anyone who thinks you know... you need to only get star rankings in 4 cups, you have to do them all, and it took me about an hr or a little over an hr to do the 7 cups I needed :)

Unfortunately there isn't

If you have just gotten a gold on what I think is the star cup, you will be able to get the dolphin dasher for medium characters. I went through all of the cups with Daisy on the Dolphin Dasher with Automatic, because I have found it is harder to get stars with Manual other than Automatic

If I got off on a bad start I would also just restart it

This was the first character I unlocked! I didn't use SMG OR the Mirror Cups! All I did was get first on a few races on 50cc and 100cc.  Trust me, it is NOT hard to get her.

If your looking for control and less collisions, try the mini bike= Bullet Bike, as a beginner this bike rly helped me, but later on i started using Flame Flyer with Rosalina or Bowser bike with Dry bowser. just a tip ;)
