Guys...there is nothing wrong with Hannah Montana and other current Disney shows...That being said; they're nothing special, either. Disney does amazing movies, not so great on the TV shows. But I feel like they never really were good at the TV shows. I never liked their old cartoons (except maybe Mickey Mouse, but he's a classic. I was more of a Cartoon Network person). It makes me a bit unhappy that people think Disney is going downhill when they can still produce movies like Tangled.

I ordered the ultamate Disney Fake book, and what they put in it disgusts me. It has Disney animated and Live action songs (which are great) their 90s TV themes (not bad) and songs from High School Musical, Hannah Montana and Camp Rock. Did no one check this? It's an insult to the good song to even be in the same book as Disney Channel Crap!

I was that awkward middle between the 90's and 00's, but I loved both parts of my childhood, and I have faith in the future ones to come. Pixar and Old Disney are equal and both provide great memories for children all over the world. :)

Im in love with all the Disney Movies. My heart is broken that they dont play these on DISNEY channel...it dosent make sense...I know that my children will grow up with these movies as I have. You know we are the missing link in each of us! Yes I can show you a whole different world than either of us have ever lived in. There is no doubt in my mind, after this weekend, that you also can show me a different world! I think the things that have made us restless (bored) in the past is because we never had anyone that kept up, stayed beside, went ahead, or fell back when we needed it - I have found all of that in you.
I think we learn from Mulan, Alladin, Ariel, Belle, yeah we learned from them, but think about it, the wizards taught us that maybe there is magic, Hannah taught us that you can live your dreams and be normal too, Face it. Disney will forever teach us :)

Whenever I hear disney songs I just remember running around as a kid just having fun. Who hasn't gotten their best friend to play tarzan and do the ball dancing scene from the movie? if anything it taught us the right things. But people who are so involved with the media of today find ways to bring down what was once our best friend growing up. This is for childhood, and what it should be. It should be this kind of disney. Disney grew up with us while we need it to remind us where we come from.

Lion King taught us a bit of Shakespeare. Alladin taught us that even 'street rats' can make a difference. Tarzan taught us to go explore and discover. What are we being taught now? My children don't even watch the shows on Disney channel because it isn't nearly as good. I wish they would bring all of that... well I have no clue what to call it... maybe magic? I think we learn from Mulan, Alladin, Ariel, Belle, yeah we learned from them, but think about it, the wizards taught us that maybe there is magic, Hannah taught us that you can live your dreams and be normal too, Face it. Disney will forever teach us :)

- Tangled
and so on and so forth
Hannah/Jonas/Wizards/Sonny can only be compared to Raven/Lizzie/Phil of the Future/Suite Life

I'm not sure but all the classics came out around the same time - so I'm pretty sure a lot of the same people were connect to the films.
I still enjoy disney - i'm part of the perfect generation buz i got to enjoy both old and new disney.

Actually, I think the Lion King taught us about responsiblity by showing us that you cannot run from your past; you need to step and take responsiblity. If it isn't your fault, fight for what you believe in,
I don't know about Shakespeare's Hamlet, so if Hamlet is anything like what I just said then that's for people who don't know what Hamlet is.

Whenever I hear disney songs I just remember running around as a kid just having fun. Who hasn't gotten their best friend to play tarzan and do the ball dancing scene from the movie? if anything it taught us the right things. But people who are so involved with the media of today find ways to bring down what was once our best friend growing up. This is for childhood, and what it should be. It should be this kind of disney. Disney grew up with us while we need it to remind us where we come from.

We were taught girls can do anything with Mulan. Ariel taught us to dream of different worlds. Pocahontas taught us to accept others for their differences. Belle taught us love can conquer all. Lion King taught us a bit of Shakespeare. Alladin taught us that even 'street rats' can make a difference. Tarzan taught us to go explore and discover. What are we being taught now? How to dress up and be a rock star? To become a wizard in a New York sub shop? Where did Disney go?

You know what I did? I screamed. It HURT! I also have problems being different. Teddy's friend rolled her eyes and said"ugh" when she was doing a play about that. Everybody hated it and didn't belive in it. They did the LAUGHING SOUND EFFECT! As if it were supposed to be Funny! Almost made me give up...

i love this song, for the fact i had cancer when i was eight years old and was goin to this place called cancer camp, at the time i thought i was the only eight year old kid that had cancer and i was scared of what people there would think of a little bald boy, then i realized after the first day, they were strangers that were just like me, i heard this song and i cried, remembering the days at my cancer camp, where no one made fun me.

you know what,these older classic disney songs were,and still are fantastic,but now however,in my opion todays disneys songs and shows are just pathetic!with a bunch of dorky kids,no meaning no warm hearted-ness or even special memories to pass on to next geneorations of the family,i mean don't you just wish that like years from now you could be watching a disney classic and say to you childeren"hey,i remeber this,I used to love this at your age!"like if you agree,pass this on or even reply.

That said, however, I think they did a pretty good job with The Princess and the Frog, brought back the taste of a real Disney classic =)

@mist9435 my family and I loves The Princess and the Frog because it was almost like watching Disney 20 years ago. It was a great movie. My children don't even watch the shows on Disney channel because it isn't nearly as good. I wish they would bring all of that... well I have no clue what to call it... maybe magic? @yesiampsycho probably someone who has a problem with their fav icon from the 80's singing with Disney. But theres a difference between 80's, 90's Disney and Walt Disney Disney. (In my opinion) 80's, & 90's Disney music sings about a great desire like love and the singer has a history of singing, ie Phil Collins, Elton John. Walt Disney Disney is just, silly. like Mary Poppins (a great classic) the music is kinda silly. Im not disgracing Walt in any way, this is my opinion.
