Talk Talk has given us a new sound and perfect timing of lyrics placing that I never heard before. The lyrics at Wealth don't start at the first note, but the last word and breath ends with the last note. That are things I never heard before and gave me some inspiration in things I do Nowadays.

I love the euphemism in this track. The HITTING of the piano keys, to express an emotion is so powerful. I get it, I get it. It's not about the song, its about everything else, which is the point being expressed here and in my opinion works extremely well. I hope, that for women, that one day this song will ring true. That is what's snuffing out 'music'....too many recording deals with plastic groups manufactured by business men who strangle any creativity that these people have.Its moved away from kids making music,to business making money.What we need is another 'punk' era to wipe the slate clean.There will always be the men in suits behind bands but now its all about them and not about what matters...the music.

Also the way music was made was more radio friendly (Read $ ) Less and less guitar solos and nothing but Power Ballads . Like I said there were exceptions to the rule . Bands like Kings X or Dream Theater were easy to label Hair , but they were so much better than bands like Poison ,Guns'n Roses,Rat and countless others . I am NOT saying that the other bands didn't have talent . I AM saying that their creativity was almost nonexistent due to recording deals.

Awesome tune awesome band But NOT proof of being superior in even the tiniest bit. Most 80's music was trash . Many bands were wholesale sellouts And proof of this is the hairbands that all dressed the same and sounded the same .The only individuality they had was their names. There are always exceptions to the rule Bands like IceHouse ,TalkTalk and a few others were a shiny example of where music should be .I have found superior examples of music from EVERY decade that I have been alive .

@kbdevo1962 the 1980s saw the explosion of 'lets have a go' organic groups.The mass production of the synthesiser made it possible for any kid with a song in them, to produce music.Whether you like or dislike that style of music,the synth enabled an explosion of music/groups to hit the charts in a similar way that the electric guitar did for the 1960s,this is why early 80s groups sound similar the same way that mid 60s groups all sound (guitar) similar.This isn't critisism,just an observation.

Just like I wrote above, it was definitely ahead of its time in terms of the inter-play between the vocals & the instrumentation & how they complemented each other! For the overall sound was fantastic & cutting edge, as all the various elements & aspects come together quite seamlessly while they still manage to retain their individual character by remaining quite distinctive. In this mid 80's new, New Wave sort of way of course! Yes, it's in many ways ahead of its time, this marvel to behold!

For that particular era also produced some outstanding, brilliant & cutting edge music!))!
