I love watching this video clip from time to time. I never was a big fan of Jimmy Barnes but it his voice reminds me a little like Bon Scotts from AC/DC. Does any AC/DC fans know if they considered Jimmy for lead vocals after Bon passed in the 80's? I think Jimmy would have been a much better choice than Brian Johnson... when he took over I did not listen to AC/DC after the Back in Black LP.
This was one of the best concerts I have ever been to. I remember some people started throwing their juice bottles on stage, then Micheal said "F**k it then, throw them " and there was litterelly 20,000 of them thrown on stage. The whole day was awsome, there was so many bands there. Was about 10 from the front all day, girlfriend was a big INXS fan.
Yep this is just the stuff of legends! amazing foundations that todays acts fall far short of. Hate the way bands today are tagged as "rockstars" and in reality are just poor wannabes, people should look at the Hutchence / Aus scene and realise this is true Music and legend in it's most pure form theese bands layed the solid foundations for generations to come.
This in my classic rock playist, or it should be if not :P

I was there. 14-1/2 years old! Remember people being bounced in the air on blankets.

Absolutely! Very different from the days of The Farriss Brothers up to at least Rocking The Royals.
I still love to see them on stage with Chrissy, David, Sean and Chris! It's kind of surreal.

...which made me realise that Kate Ceberano is missing - or Zan.
