I've been to Staten Island before, I'd be hard pressed to find a more despicable city in the US! Nothing but hordes of prostitues and miles and miles of adult-oriented (i.e. porn) businesses. Hardly anyone there spoke english, and I often felt like I was in some pre-industrialized civilization. After only a few hours I was covered head-to-toe in dirt and filth! The only real highlight was a stroll around Silver Lake, where I saw lots of shirtless men jogging, BUT THE REST WAS A NIGHTMARE!!!!!
