I'm sorry. The same thing happened to my 2006 Passat 2.0T. I hit a divider and now whenever I hit a bump, the front make a scraping noise. I put it into reverse and it skidded and scraped!

I feel you brother, I just damage my bmw by hitting the curb pretty hard. It just happened so they are still assesting the damages but it's pretty bad, look like transmission is damaged, axes etc. Is good to know that you managed to fix yours, maybe they can fix mine

First of all, they are called lug-bolts, not screws!!! Maybe because it's an 8V GTI you moron. The VR6, like the VR6 Jetta had 5-lug wheels. That's the easy way to distinguish an 8V GTI and VR6 GTI. Next time do your research before you make a comment please. Thanks.
