You have to get past "What it looks like" and pay attention to the detail that he's coming from above first (After cleaning the bell and pressing up which is better for the joints than from raising the bells up laterally locked out at the elbows from the side.
For the two previous posters who are complaining about "cross purity" you should listen to the words he's saying in video. This is about how to build functional strength in your shoulders and has nothing to do with the gymnastics "Iron Cross."
Excellent tutorial for those of us who train with kettlebells.
