Monorail dostal nazov podla jedinej kolajnice (i ked betonovej) po ktorej sa pohybuje na gumenych kolesach.
Transrapid sice tiez jazdi po jednej betonovej kolaji, ale bez priameho fyzickeho kontaktu s nou, t.j. nema ziadne kolesa. Pohybuje sa len vdaka meniacej sa polarite elektromagnetov v drahe voci elektromagnetom v dolnej casti vlaku.

yeah, i just don't want the light rail to eat up all of the corridors left over. still room in west seattle and to the NW for a monorail.
and how cool would living back then and riding it have been!
