The reason Robin isn't afraid to approach the wolf is because they are her favorite animal. Also, because it walks on two legs, she thinks it is a werewolf, and therefore thinks it is also a person, hence "Werewolves are people." :)

I can offer advice, Raidou; the white lines on the sides of the screen is where the Forest Girl is. When you want to find the Wolf, look at the screen for a wolf's paw prints. That should lend a hand when you decide you want to find each of their wolves.
