  • you speek very good in english bu the best way to increase english skills is rpea n listening

C normale !

  • contact me

jte donnerai qqes cours d'anglais . t as toutes les capacites mais t as besoin un peu d aide

  • You do not have either a British or American accent in English. I listened to it a few times and did not detect any phonetic sounds that were distinctly British or American.

  • Your accent in English is mild when you were speaking casually, but became heavy when you started reading. I was able to clearly understand everything you said when you were casually speaking, but when you started reading, it was difficult to understand some of the words that you said. I had to use context listening to understand while you were reading in English.

  • love this accent <3

  • When you say words that start with 'H' don't pronounce the H. So Hat will sound like at :)

  • Not bad :)

  • @Mrmikemike46 ok, thank you. I'm happy that you can understand me, because on monday, I have to do a presentation in english, alone in front of all my class. I'm very scared! =S

  • @titemissa16

My accent sounds like a blend of American, British, a bit of Eastern European, and maybe even Brooklyn. And I've never lived in New York. X3

  • Hi! I'm a spanish speaker but I did notice you pronounced some words with a strong french accent (video, specially, about, family, we, the), and in my opinion that french accent is because sometimes you pronounce vowels in a french way, so try to improve that. Also, as someone said before, it's difficult to understand you while reading (maybe because you read too fast, look for "Speak Clearly without Slowing Down" on youtube and check out the first video, it's really helpful)

  • @luna89snow Hi! It's strange because I hear my french accent but I can't do the same prononciation as english people. It's like when I listen to Vanessa Paradis singing in english, I hear her accent, but I know that nevertheless she tries to have an english accent. Maybe I will do the same video in Spanish to have an idee of my spanish prononciation. ^^

    Thank you for your comment.

  • @titemissa16 I know what you mean, it's really frustrating when you hear some word and try to pronounce as you hear it but you just can't. It would be great if you do that spanish video, as a native speaker, I'll be happy to help you with your pronunciation. Anyway, you have a cute accent.

  • @luna89snow Thank you! =) Yes, I think that I will do this video in spanish, maybe in some weeks, or days...

Thank you for your help! :)

    bye

  • @titemissa16 So long as you're understandable you don't need to bother with the accent. Men love it, and the most important thing to speaking a language is just practice. Your pronunciation of English here isn't any stranger than that of British people.

  • @titemissa16 That's because the only time when you can really learn how to listen and pronounce properly in a language is childhood. That's why it's extremely hard to learn it afterwards, but there's always room for improvement for everyone^^

  • au mail gaude, ioure accente ise auribeul !

  • @8xb Maybe, but I can write english without mistake, or almost... Because "Oh my god, your way of writing is horrible"! ^^

  • One more thing, then I'll shut up:

I found it easier to understand you when you weren't reading. I'm not entirely sure why that is, but I thought I'd let you know. Shutting up now.

  • @ZealofaWarrior ok, but is it nevertheless understandale when i read?

  • @titemissa16 Most of it is understandable. It's just harder to understand. That's all. There were a couple times I couldn't understand what you said.

  • @ZealofaWarrior oh, it's sad to me! ^^ It is such a problem!

  • Also, I think most pronunciation problems came with the "th" and "r," but I wouldn't worry too much about it. Those are the sounds most non-native speakers have problems with when speaking English. I have a terrible time with the French "r" so it's mutual =)

  • @ZealofaWarrior Lol okey. Don't be worry, french people understand when an English says the french "R". And it's very cute =)

  • I love how you said my name!

I can actually understand you quite well. For us native speakers, I think it's easy to understand certain words you pronounce incorrectly simply because you pronounced the words before them so well and we can actually guess what the next words will be before you even say them. That was a long, complicated sentence. Hopefully you can understand it. If you can't, let me know and I'll try to write it in French. =) I'm sure you can figure it out though.

  • @ZealofaWarrior Mdr, i read it 3 times, but it's ok, i understood! Isn't it the good prononciation to say zealofawarrior? =D

Thank you for the advice :-)

  • @titemissa16 I'm glad you could understand me. I'm known among my friends for my long, complicated sentences, so I'm happy you were able to figure it out. =)

You said the "ofaWarrior" part correctly. "Zeal" however is pronounced more like "ziel" than "zeyl" which is how you said it.

  • @ZealofaWarrior I'm not surprised that you're known among your friends for that ^^. Lol, no I said it like "zéale". It's worse! In reality, when you write english, I understand what you want to say, but I don't know all the words that you use. For example, i don't know waht does "be abble to figure it out" means. But I guess that it means something like "be abble to understand it" --> être capable de le comprendre.

  • @titemissa16 Appelle-moi un philosophe a cause je parle comme un philosophe. =)

"To figure something out" is kind of like being able to understand it, yes. I think the closest translation would be "dechiffrer." "To figure something out" is "to find the meaning of something" or "to learn on your own how to do something." When you figure a sentence out, you've had to work to find it's meaning. In the other sense, I'm a good example. I "figured out" how to speak some French. Does that make sense?

  • @ZealofaWarrior Yes that makes sense xd! Thank you! =)

  • Thank you, it's nice =)

  • your accent is cute :D

i am having a little trouble understanding you sometimes but you have such a pretty accent
