GOD BLESS, GREAT VIDEO THOUGH TOO.

  • i heard the origional bad ass kind of path finder is no more on account of ptsd'ers going phycho and using there special skills for things not related to mission's

  • Patrol Pathfinder are considered a Tier 2 Special Operation Unit

"quiet"professionals besides doing briefing follow on forces, gather intelligence, securing drop zone they also conduct ambush and and reconaissance behind enemy lines

  • aren't pathfinders considered to be tier 2 special forces?

  • @britishfetishman101: No Pathfinders are not our SF, they are long range Recce (recon). Their job is to go in first to find and secure a drop zone for Airborne forces to fallow on.

  • @FusZee no i know that JTF2 is our tier one special forces but what i am asking is is a pathfinder in the canadian forces a kind of special forces soldier?

  • @britishfetishman101 Pathfinders is considered one of, if not the toughest course offered by the CF. FusZee summed up the role of a pathfinder pretty well, I'd imagine that special force operations would require pathfinders more often but it's definitely not a role restricted to SF ops. More on wikipedia if u need

  • @britishfetishman101 no, they are not special forces. They are highly trained infantry soldiers that chose to go that path with their career.

  • @britishfetishman101 Pathfinders are used by JTF2 and CSOR. Its a Qualification for Airborne Soldiers to achieve. The pathfinders are the first boots on the ground for any airborne operation. The Canadian selection course is one of the toughest courses in the CF and is said to Rival the CANSOFCOM Assaulters Course as well as the SAR (Search and Rescue) Tech course. I would not fuck with a Pathfinder.
