  • Leave your global warming agenda out of the next video will ya please, Al Gores a money grubbing Gangster from Michigan I know i live here Nice nature shots thank you :-)

  • @DETROITBULLET Could not agree more on the global warming.

  • living in harmony and co-operation with nature? whatta joke! No no dude...we all live by her "rules" and ppls can only abide them! we are here to serve nature not the other way around!

  • Iceland is a island of Hydrothermal power. I fear that , much like yellowstone, the system will go over the top during this eruption and create a giant ash plume

  • nice but a little goofy in the narrative

  • Katyń2-ziarno wrzucone W ziemię .. wydało Plony PRAWDY (film)

  • oh dear

  • The narrator kind of contradicted himself. He talks about nature being in control and taking care of the planet, but then points out that the folly of the humans actions will in turn destroy the planet. Not those exact words, but that's the way his point is coming across.

  • he's more saying that nature is there to keep everything '' the planet healty '' and the human race is just a kind of Bacterial , here to unconsciously destroy it..

  • Stunning landscape.

  • ...an important lesson that we need to be good stewards to the environment...

  • i'm from Vestmannaisland(heimaey) :D if you want some info about it Pw me

  • can i ask you a question?what did surtsey look like when it erupted?

    thank you

  • Hahaha he talks like the island is the most dangerous place in the world... I was born there and lived for 20 years and i never felt safer its the partyisland of Iceland :)

  • i've been there! There was a huge party, and all the seamen were at the party so everyone was stuck on the island and got drunk and fell down. it was the party you couldn't leave! LOL!

and the volcano is cool too, it's still warm to walk on, so don't forget to wear good shoes, no flip flops.

  • One homeless guy died in heimaey. he was past out in the pharmasys seller

  • no one lives in Heimaey!

  • ertu að grínast frændi minn og fjölskylda hans eiga heima þar. ertu fáviti?

there are about 4.500 people living there

  • Lol! thats really dumb what the guy said. "the volcano proves who really controls around here" Well we did STOP the lava from flowing. lets see nature try to beat that :P No other country has stopped a volcano from destroying more ^^ look at the movie volcano i think thats how we stopped it. the volcano movie with nicholas cage where he was in LA.

  • Excellent video. Very well shot, produced and narrated.

  • Great video.. I would love to visit Iceland one of these days!

  • Vestmannaeyjar! Ísland! born and raised

  • My home town; Heimaey. <3 <3<3<3<3<3

  • Do you still live there?

  • No... :( I moved to Norway in 1996... :( but my mum lived there when Eldfjell was aktiv. She saw everything. :)She was 16/17 years old. She has told me about it, her dad got her out of bed and said in a kalm voice that the volcano was activ. :D

  • There had bin a storm, so all the boats where in the harbor. But the clouds disapeard and in the night it was a clear sky. If there had not bin a storm, then there would not have bin enough boats, and some one might have died. But also the storm calmed dow, and if it had not, then no one wouuld have seen ore heard the volcano. there where a lot of faktors in place. (Sorry for my miss spellings)

  • Part of the successful rescue was the fact that so many people own so many boats on the island. But they still needed some to come from the mainland I guess. I hope you got to Husavik and Reykjalith and Thorsmork, the glacier. It was truly spectacular. I haven't done that video yet. I was also fascinated with the geothermal power and heating system they've built.

  • just got back from iceland today. the most wonderful place i have ever been. visited the westmann islands and stood in all those spots in the film. spoke to several people who had to flee to the mainland in 1973. over 5000 folks left the island in just a few hours and apparently not a single death occurred.

  • I can't wait to go back. We didn't spend a lot of time in Reykjavik, which is a great city. The northeast area around Akureyri, Husavik and Kafla was the most diverse and fascinating. I liked the air travel system they have too. It's like Alaska. The prices are a little high but everything's so convenient and the Icelanders are so friendly. Plus, they all speak English better than 90% of Americans.

  • i mis iceland :-(

  • Nice video. :-)

  • @OMM06 wow a 2 year old comment :O , are you still alive?

  • @MicroMouse007 Yes, I am; but I don't come on here as much any more. Still enjoy your videos.
