Hi! I didn't know the original song so I had first to listen to Tommy Emmanuel's version and to some other fan version around. Very nice, the slower tempo gives it a more oldstyle bluesy feeling. I like very much playing finger-picking and pieces like this are great.
hey dude, im working on this song too. For the boom chic, try muting the base notes a bit more. Since there are 2 D strings an octave apart, it sounds a little too extreme when they aren't muted. Try it out. sounds good. good luck.
