  • This Dear Lady Wrote The Book on R & B. She Set The Standard To Be Judged By As An R&B Lady Artist. No Brag, Just Fact :-) From A Georgia Cracker.

  • Yeah, Goosemer did bring me here too. But im so glad he did! Dinah Washington has such an amazing voice!

  • Beautiful rendition by Dinah Washington. Dinah was probably singing for an entirely white audience and had to enter by a back door. If Dinah's singing in a hotel she's likely not able to stay there. How tragically and pathetically sad.

  • Questi sono artisti con la "A"

  • im gonna go out with this song

  • ahhh iii innnn the rain...

LOVE IT.....One of my favorite Dinah's....

  • I love this type of music it reminds me of happy times.

  • GREAT --- I have listen to the other artists version of this classic and Miss Washington owns this song - no doubt. Thank you Miss Washington for giving us this wonderful gift.

  • Compare to the Beatles' version sung by Paul McCartney for the Decca Records audition with Pete Best on drums.

  • Oh how this reminds me of the days when Roy Orbison and Elvis were alive, used to play this when doing chores..it's still great.

  • My Dad used to play this L.P. when I was growing up in the 60,s.Loved it then ,still love it,just magic.

  • I remember listening to this in the 60s as a small child on my older sister's Dansette record player - really evocative and has lost none of its magic

  • @TheMoot1 Had to laugh at this Mooty I started off with a Trixette and when that wore out I got a Dansette...my 1st records were Only make believe, Dynamite, then I discovered the magnificent Roy Orbison and Elvis xx Glenda-Marie
