2 things. First one, is that kimi brakes really early, just watch the vid, look at the speed when kimi brakes, lewis is as blowed by the ferrari, so it's the only way to prevent the accident, cutting off the chicane.

The second one, is that Mclaren asked to the FIA if anything is ok, the maFIA answered "yes", and then, they penalize lewis ?

Anyway, they couldn't prevent lewis for the title ! :D

The penalty can be discussed as we never really had anything like this, so people might not get why he got a penalty. However, after Eau Rouge Hamilton kept going left and right, changing direction 3-4 times, when only 1 time is allowed. Either the intentional cut, either the not-quite-given-back position, or either the direction switches, but something had to be punished out of these 3. What I don't get is why Nakajima didn't get a penalty, he almost ruined both top drivers' race.

There have been a number of incidents like this over the years, Alonso cut a chicane @ Suzuka 05, he gave the place back then immediately re-took it, exactly the same as Lewis did @ Spa, yet the stewards said he didnt have to give the place back. And there was Schumey cutting a chicane to get past Montoya, then refusing to give back track position & blocking Montoya, yet race stewards were fine with that aswell. Lewis did nothing wrong @ Spa!

Hamilton clearly slowed down and took a position behind Kimi, all the way back. In fact, he overtook Kimi from the opposite side.

FIA's ruling always fall in favor of Ferrari.

It was the same with Bourdais in Japan, he was clearly ahead going into the curve and Massa made a mistake going on the outside and cutting all the space for Bourdais. He paid his mistake with a spin but Bourdais got punished. Eventually Massa benefited with one extra point.

There was another incident this year with Kimi.
