WOW !!! still sounds great after all these years, I have this record and 40+ others. Woody was my HERO when I was in my 20s, and this is one of my favourite tracks, also one of my dads favs, we saw this band live at the NEW VICTORIA THEATRE, London in 1964, its my favourite line up.
Trumpet solo by Billy Hunt--under appreciated player who just couldn't seem to crack into that elite level. Still alive and still playing last time I heard.
If you cant feel the swing in this band ..... You must be dead . What a band and of course what a drummer .. The great Jake Hanna .

Trumpet player is my cousin Bill Hunt and though that gorgeous head of hair is gone, he can still play that horn!

The trumpeter playing the out front solo is Billy Hunt. Bill Chase is the tall guy in the middle of the trumpet section playing lead.

Baritone saxophonist is the late Nick Brignola. Tenor saxophonist on far right is the late Sal Nistico.
