What I was saying was that eyetoy can't be 480p if it uses USB1.1, it has to be 240p. You've missed my point

Because it doesn't have the bandwidth 12Mbps can't give you an upcompressed video signal at 480p unless it's fram rate is pretty low, but from what I've seen, it's lower quality than 480p . Wikipedia can be changed by any idiot with an internet connection.

I've heard that XP won't support USB3.0 but Linux should get in kernel 2.6.31 or 2.6.32. Only Vista and 7 support it. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Linux, Mac OS and Windows 7 will support it, Windows Vista is being brushed under the carpet so don't count on it and Windows XP is nearing on 8 years old.
