@XeenWoozy To clean up that gulf oil spill, they used a chemicl called corexit which could possibly have an affect on the weather patterns. Satellite data has shown that the gulf oil spill stalled the current known as "The Engine of the Gulf Stream." It's a warm ocean current that flows north, through the Atlantic. The stream warms the climate of Northern Europe. Without it, there could be an ice age. HAARP is also most likely responsible for weather changes. Research it.

I think the world running out of resources is a more serious issue than global warming. I think oil would run out before climate change would happen and besides, climate change would happen slowly and land use would and the environment would slowly adapt.

Either way, the belief in manmade climate change leading to research in renewable energy still is a positive effect. oil and other fossil fuel are finite resources and we cannot keep relying on it forever. switching to solar and wind and electric cars still would benefit mankind. second thing i thought about is waste management and biodegradable plastic. all these are positive effects.

this documentary gave details on why global warming may not be real and challenged the theory, but it didn't counter many of the arguments that global warming activists are putting forward. It did mention about the co2 levels but gave nothing on ozone layers etc. there must be another reason why all the politicians out there are supporting a cut down on the gases, I don't believe that the leaders are bad enough people to support a thoery just for money, and accept no growth for third world

They refer to well-documented studies such as the multiple ice core data sets, which show quite clearly that CO2 rises AFTER temperature goes up. It always amuses me when skeptics question the motives of scientists who put their careers on the line to question AGW orthodoxy, but these same skeptics stubbornly refuse to question the motives of those who promote AGW theories, as if their motives are unimpeachable.

@MouseWarlord Check out potholer054 on You Tube. He does a 'Made Easy' series of videos. I found them much more convincing. Commerical broadcasters are not necessarily the best source of information. Really, one should check out the sources and peer reviewed scientific papers are probably the best primary and secondary sources, not journalists, celebrities, politicians or even TV documentaries that don't source these materials themselves.

@MouseWarlord You'd better think very carefully about dismissing the evidence that support the case that there is a significant increase in global temperatures. Even people like David Attenborough have started to come out to say it is happening. Even if you only think of it in terms of risk management it has to be faced. The flooding of New Orleans was a result of poor risk management and platitudes and look what happened; they were simply unprepared in every possible way.

Satellite data has shown that the gulf oil spill stalled the current known as "The Engine of the Gulf Stream." It's a warm ocean current that flows north, through the Atlantic. The stream warms the climate of Northern Europe. Without it, there could be an ice age. HAARP is also most likely responsible for weather changes. Research it.

I've never met anyone who denies that global warming is man made who can answer that question. 90 + percent of scientists who are qualified to talk about this issue believe that it is man made global warming. Thats a huge number of scientist that would have to be prepared to lose there scientific integrity in order to gain money from it. I understand that the majority could be wrong. But thats not how science works, we believe till we are proven otherwise.

Yes I totally agree the world climate has always changed, it changed according to natural conditions , nature changes the world INCREDIBLY SLOWLY over 100's of 1000's and millions of years..Humans due to man made CO2 are changing the world weather measurably in years, nature doesn't change this fast. You watch the world temperature will continue to rise for the rest of your life...you watch there is absolutely no doubt..

All around the world governments are imposing a carbon tax. But Star Scientific's Muon Catalysed Fusion produces No CO2 so therefore NO CARBON TAX. Also NO Nuclear Fission waste, it is completely safe NO Fukushima here. It is very cheap to produce so if you care about the cost of energy you will want this.

Either way, the belief in manmade climate change leading to research in renewable energy still is a positive effect. oil and other fossil fuel are finite resources and we cannot keep relying on it forever. switching to solar and wind and electric cars still would benefit mankind. second thing i thought about is waste management and biodegradable plastic. all these are positive effects.

@clementckw i mean im not for deceiving the world and denying developing countries, but how will we know who is telling the truth? though im more convinced after this video.
personally i feel that climate change or not, developing countries should do whatever they want with their resources. should other countries say otherwise in the name of climate change, they should fork out the money, technology and expertise that would make up for the opportunity cost of not using their own resouces.

I have watched both. Al Gore's movie is based on facts, with a few things here and there one can argue about. But to be honest, Al Gore's movie understated the problem if anything, not overstated it.
If you don't trust in the consensus of man made climate change, you simply don't belive in science, its as brutal as that. Because more or less every scientific oragnisation on earth supports it.
You either have to claim that all of them are incompetent, or they are lying, which is it?

2. See the BBC documentary "Earth - The climate wars" three episodes.
There you will have all the info to counter the so called sceptic-arguments.

this documentary gave details on why global warming may not be real and challenged the theory, but it didn't counter many of the arguments that global warming activists are putting forward. It did mention about the co2 levels but gave nothing on ozone layers etc. there must be another reason why all the politicians out there are supporting a cut down on the gases, I don't believe that the leaders are bad enough people to support a thoery just for money, and accept no growth for third world

Now I wonder what possible interest groups are behind this documentary. It comes across very much like the absurd creationist videos; junk science, counterfactual, unverifiable and discredited sources. It relies on the idea that everyone else are unprincipled liars like themselves so the truth is whatever you want it to be. Like people who smell bad, this red herring stinks too and, everyone else can smell it.

@ritchloui what "unverifiable sources" are used in this film? They refer to well-documented studies such as the multiple ice core data sets, which show quite clearly that CO2 rises AFTER temperature goes up. It always amuses me when skeptics question the motives of scientists who put their careers on the line to question AGW orthodoxy, but these same skeptics stubbornly refuse to question the motives of those who promote AGW theories, as if their motives are unimpeachable.

We have financed our enemies to pay for the overthrow of the secular world. The banks have caused a financial catastrophe and the culprits, far from being jailed, are advisors to the US government. The ill advised attack on Iraq has drawn us out of our depth. The laws to disarm civilians are now very advanced as is jihad.

I was believed in global warming (Anthropogenic Climate Change) until I watched this, now I realise it's the biggest hoax in recent history, and that climate change is a recurring perpetual cycle.

@MouseWarlord Check out potholer054 on You Tube. He does a 'Made Easy' series of videos. I found them much more convincing. Commerical broadcasters are not necessarily the best source of information. Really, one should check out the sources and peer reviewed scientific papers are probably the best primary and secondary sources, not journalists, celebrities, politicians or even TV documentaries that don't source these materials themselves.

Why don't you listen to this documentary's facts and proofs first and conduct your own research to verify it. Then decide whether you believe it or not. You don't have to accept everything in this video but at least be open minded! Is that too much to ask nowadays? if you're going to dismiss it, at least have some good reason for doing so! @MouseWarlord You'd better think very carefully about dismissing the evidence that support the case that there is a significant increase in global temperatures. Even people like David Attenborough have started to come out to say it is happening. Even if you only think of it in terms of risk management it has to be faced. The flooding of New Orleans was a result of poor risk management and platitudes and look what happened; they were simply unprepared in every possible way.

You saw that CO2 levels don’t cause increases in global temperature, but in fact follow it, CO2 increases 300 years after the temperature does, it’s all to do with the sea absorbing CO2 when it’s hot and releasing it when it’s cold, remember?

@ritchloui (2/5) – And none of these increases had anything to do with CO2, you should have seen the enormous variations in temperature in video in the 20th Century alone, and all of them showing no correlation to any CO2 readings, for example, from 1900-1945, there was an enormous increase in global temperatures, even though CO2 was at tiny levels, and industrial production was limited.
