You put this motor in a tube chassis Duster and you guys would have the fastest street machine in America. Even faster than that 6 second turbo Nova. And from what I can hear of the motor in this video it sounds like it would be pretty street able.

good job nre! very nice engine. 1600hp seems low though. good for 14psi but fuck,i think its time for meth injection and run 30psi daily lol better yet E85 it and see what she'll do on 45psi ;) too bad its unrealistic to put that kinda power down that motor at those boost lvls would prob be nearing 3000hp lol weeeeeeeee

@Lalann Actually one of the Car Shows on TV did a comparison of the 66 Ford 427, Chevrolet 427, and the Chrysler Hemi 426 and the Chrysler built to stock 66 specks on the Dyno pulled 740 HP

@sixtiesforever1966 My brother owned a 1969 that my father purchased new from the dealer. Paid $3,800 I believe. So Hemi 4speed with no special bells or whistles. Dyno numbers were 610. Reason why it was quoted so low by the Magazines back then, was for one reason only, " Insurance purposes" That's what has been said by countless Mopar people since.
